VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!! MUST READ!!!!

Ok!!!! Before we start I'm going to say this again.... this book takes place after Lightning Thief and before Sea of Monsters. Percy is getting ready to leave camp after Lightning Thief. The first book is the only part of the story that has happened yet. There is no time travel or de-aging. This is the point in the story he is at!!!!
Now for Harry..... this is his third year, which should be obvious when you start reading.

Percy Jackson has never had a normal life but three months ago it got turned on its head. He found out his dad is the Greek god Poseidon, and he went to a camp where demigods live and train. He went on a quest, traveled to the underworld and Mt. Olympus and even fought (and beat) and god. Despite this, Percy would say his life has never been better. He has friends and doesn't feel like and outcast anymore.

Percy POV

I stood in my cabin as I finished packing my belonging. Today was that day that I leave camp for the school year. I had the option of staying all year, but I can't leave Mom like that. I grabbed my belongings and headed to the big house, Chiron said he wanted to speak to me before I left.

I knocked on the door as I walked in.

"You wanted to see me sir?"

"Percy! Come in." The centaur was in his wheelchair and motioned me over to him. I sat down opposite him. "I understand you are planing on going back to school, am I correct?" I nod. "Well there has been some complications."

"What do you mean?" I ask slightly panicked.

"I'm afraid your mother hasn't been entirely honest with you." I send him and confused look but he continues before I can say anything, "Your mother did have a relationship with Poseidon, but it did not result in you. It resulted in nothing but a good time.

"Sally Jackson is not your birth mother, a woman named Lily Potter is."

"What! Your joking. There is no way Mom wouldn't of told me that!" I shout. I go to stand up but Chiron puts his hand up. I slowly sit back down.

"As far as Sally cares you are her own. She has raised you since you were one. Do not take what I am saying to mean that Sally does not love you and that she is not your mom. She just did not give birth to you."

"Why are you telling me this? Why not Mom? And why now?"

"Your father was sent to earth 28 years ago as punishment by Zeus. He was mad at your father and wanted him out of his hair for a while, so he was sent to England as a 5 year old boy. He was given to an older couple who were unable to have children. They raised your father and he had no memory of who he was. Not for a number of years.

"The people who raised him however were not normal mortals. They were wizards." When I was about to protest Chiron shook his head. "No I'm not lying. Hecate blessed a large group of mortals about 2000 years ago (just made up that number go with it). They became known as wizards and their descendants also share these powers.

"So your father grew up in the European wizarding world as James Potter. At age 11 he went to Hogwarts school for which craft and wizardry. He met a girl there named Lily Evans and after they graduated they got married, and had twins."

Chiron pauses and it took a moment for his words to set it. "You mean, I have a brother?"

He smiled and nodded. "His name is Harry Potter and he lives in England."

"With my mother?"

Chiron sighed. "This is where things get complicated. As your father was finishing school, a dark wizard rose to power. His name was Voldemort. Your fathers best friend was a spy for Voldemort and betrayed your parents. Voldemort went to your home to kill you or your bother. It is believed he was unaware that there are two of you. Your parents "died" protecting you.

"By this point your father remembered who he was, but was unable to return to Olympus. When Voldemort killed James Potter, your father became a god again. Your mother had grabbed Harry and your father had grabbed you. When he died, he sent you here. He asked Sally to take care of you, and to not tell you anything about this."

"What happened to my mother and brother?" I ask.

"She took Harry and tried to escape, but Voldemort killed her. He tried to kill Harry but your mothers last act of love protected him and Voldemort's spell did not work. He was defeated, and everyone believes him to be dead. Your brother went to live with your aunt uncle and cousin. The last two years he attended Hogwarts like your parents, and this year you will go with him."

After a moment I finally said, "you never explained why your telling me this now."

"The person who betrayed your parents, Sirius Black, was arrested a locked in a wizard jail. A jail that no one has ever escaped from. Last week he escaped. There is a chance he would want to go after you and Harry. He knows about both of you, and that could put you in great danger. And it's about time you and your brother meet."

"So what, you want me to just up and move to England ? What about camp and training, and my mom?" I demand.

"You will be able to return during the summer like normal, but you need to go to Hogwarts. Hecate has agreed to give you all the information you need to know about the wizarding world and what you missed the first two years of school.

"You will go home today and in two days someone will come to your house and take you to meet Harry. The person collecting you knows about your father, but you will have to tell Harry. Try no to let very many people know. The headmaster will be aware, but not many others. Be safe Percy. And look out for your brother. Now go home."

I stand up and shake his hand. "Thank you Chiron. For everything." He nodded and I walked out of the big house and up the hill. I see Argus waiting at the road with the van. Waiting to take me back to the place I've called home for the last 12 years of my life. Somehow I know that while it will always be there for me, it won't ever feel the same.
