Harry
I was the first person up the next morning. For a few minutes I just set there. So much happened last night, and the last few weeks but I could finally relax. I was finally home.
Thinking about Percy, I suddenly realized that he probably has never done magic. At least not on purpose. Given that I don't now what classes we'll have today, or if the teacher will know about him I figured he should do some kind of magic before class.
I quickly get up and walk over to Percy's bed. I shake his shoulders slightly. "Percy, come one man wake up!" He sat up groggily.
"Why so early man?" He mumbled.
"Dude, you've never done magic before. Come on we are gonna got practice before class."
Percy started to get dress as I went to wake up Ron. Sadly Ron wasn't as quiet as Percy was.
"Harry? What the- why are we getting up so early?" He said loudly. To loudly.
I heard Neville start sitting up next to Ron and Seamus by Percy. Soon enough all the boys were awake, and looking at me wanting to know why I woke them up.
"Guys I didn't mean to wake all of you up. Just Ron and Percy" I explain.
"Well we're up now, so you're not going anywhere with out explaining about your new brother." Dean demanded.
I sigh as all the boys come and sit between mine and Percy's bed. I look at my brother and he shakes him head. We're not telling them about dad yet.
"Ok so we're twins. But like because of the war, very few people had actually met us, so most people didn't know that there were two of us. That night, Percy wasn't with me. He had been sick so he was staying with a friend."
I was literally making this up as I went along.
Percy nodded and continued the story. "So when everyone found out about what happened, I was sent to America. I grew up not knowing who I was, or what I was. Then about a month ago, a family friend who knew about all of this told me everything. And I was sent here. I have a basic knowledge of the wizarding world and magic..."
"But," I continued, "he hasn't actually done magic before. So we were getting up early so he could try to perform magic before we had class today."
"Oh, wow." Was all Seamus managed to say.
"Why didn't you go to the American school?" Dean asked.
"I guess since I was supposed to go to go to Hogwarts, I wasn't on their radar." Percy answered honestly.
"Well why are you still sitting here, get your wand!" Neville said while laughing.
I had never been more appreciative of my friends, they didn't question us, and are being insanely supportive.
"Thanks guys!" I say as Ron Percy and I leave the room.
I lead the others to an unused classroom.
"Okay what should he try?" Ron asks.
I see a scrap of paper and smirk at Ron, "this work as a feather?"
I set the paper in front of Percy and explain how to move his wand as well as telling him the spell.
So first off, Percy said it perfectly. And he got the feather to levitate his first try.
I shoved Ron slightly, "He got it faster than Hermione did!"
"Well we were 11 then!" Ron protested.
"Still."
Percy smirked. "Y'all know I can hear you right?" We all laughed. "Ok what next?"
We went through various spells for almost an hour. Percy was able to master practically all of them. Obviously he didn't do every spell we learned the last two years, but he'll be much better prepared for today then he would of been.
When we were finished we headed back to the common room to grab our stuff. Hermione was there looking worried.
"Where have you been? I was getting worried, and about to leave without you!"
"Don't worry Mione, they were just helping me practice some spells before class today" Percy explains to her.
"Oh, that's actually pretty smart. Why didn't you tell me, I would of helped," she said after a moment.
"Didn't think of it till this morning. Sorry Mione."
After grabbing our stuff we headed to the great hall for breakfast. As we walked in we saw Malfoy telling a story to the other Slytherins. As we walked past he acted out an over the top fainting.
"Ignore him," Hermione whispered to me. "Just ignore him, he's not worth it."
"Potter! Hey Potter, watch out the dementors are coming!" The prat shouted.
I took a step towards him, but Percy grabbed my arm and pulled me off towards the Gryffindor table.
I plopped into a seat next to George.
"New third year schedules," he said as he passed us four schedules. "What's got you all moody?"
"Malfoy," Percy informed him.
The twins looked over at the Slytherin table, and winced. I couldn't bring myself to turn around.
"Let's see him act like that after we destroy him in quidditch. Gryffindor verses Slytherin, first game of the season!" Fred exclaimed.
The thought of not only beating Malfoy, but just playing quidditch again definitely put me in a better mood.
We all looked over our new schedules. We had Divination first, and Hagrid after lunch. 2 new classes in one day.
A moment later Hagrid came over to us. I saw Percy tense, but he made no move to grab his sword.
"Yer in my firs ever lesson. Righ after lunch!" He looked toward Percy. "Don't believe we've been introduced Rubeus Hagrid!" He reaches out his mighty hand and Percy shook it hesitantly.
"Percy Potter. Harry's twin."
Harry smiles, "O course you are! Well I bes' be goin, see you lot later." And with that he continued on to the staff table.
"I wonder what he's got planned?" Ron though our loud.
"Beats me."
"It'll take us close to 10 minutes to get to divination," Hermione pointed out. "We should probably get going."
So with that we left the great hall. As we passed up the Slytherin table, Malfoy tried to get me railed up again, but I didn't even look at him.
I did see Percy send him a pretty fierce glare though.
So the boys got a story they can stick to and Percy has now done magic. Divination next chapter, it should be interesting.
