Harry
Ron Hermione and I rushed to the castle, and went straight to the hospital wing. We still would of had almost an hour of Hagrid's class so I didn't worry about being late to Charms.
When we got to the hospital wing we found Hagrid standing outside looking worried.
"Is he okay?" I asked as we got up to him.
Hagrid shook his head nervously, "Pomfrey rushed me out almost as soon as I got in there. She's working on him now, but I don't think she'll let anyone in."
I run my hand through my hair, freaking out slightly. I mean he's my brother, and he could be dying. "What should we do?"
"I was waiting for you lot to get here before I went to McGonagall, she best know." Hagrid told us. We nodded and he headed off towards the transfiguration classroom.
"What even happened?" Ron asked after a few minutes.
I sigh, "We were standing there watching as Malfoy taunted Buckbeak. Then when Buckbeak got up to strike at Malfoy and Percy rushed forward and shoved him out of the way. Percy saved the stupid coward and he payed for it!"
Ron clenched his fist, "The next time I see the slimy stuck up-" Hermione cut him off.
"You're not going to do anything, because you will get all of us in trouble." She looked at me with a sad face then laugh slightly, "Well at least we can say he's not your brother for nothing."
Ron laughed too and I blushed. "Is this how you all felt last two years when I ended up in here?
"Yeah this about sums it up mate. And Madam Pomfrey is-" Ron was cut off as the doors opened.
"I'm what, Mr Weasley?" The medic witch said with a small smirk.
"Oh um, amazing, the best healer Hogwarts could ask for," Ron stammered our quickly.
"Hmm. Well anyway. He's asleep, but you can come in. If you start bothering him though I'm sending you right out! Do you understand me?" We all nod quickly as we follow her into the hospital wing.
We head over to the only occupied bed. Percy was sleeping and looked peaceful. He didn't have a shirt on, but his torso was wrapped in bandages. Madam Pomfrey grabbed rags that were next to the bed. The amount of blood on them made my stomach turn.
"Oh Percy, you idiot! Why did you have to be the hero?" I ask him even though I know he couldn't hear me.
"Come on Harry, you know he wouldn't stand by and watch someone get hurt knowing he could help," Hermione told me as she sat down across from me.
Ron nodded and sat Down next to me, "Yeah mate, don't beat yourself up. He knew what he was doing."
We sat in silence for a few minutes till the doors opened. Professor McGonagall rushed over to us.
"Well, when I was told Professor Trelawney predicted his death I never imagined anything like this would happen!" She turned to the three of us. "Now tell me, what happened."
Hermione glances at me, and after seeing my face started to explain. I didn't want to say it again. After she explained McGonagall shook her head.
"I never imagined he would try to live up to his Potter name on his first day! You three still need to go to your final class today, but you can come back to his afterwards. Do you understand?" We all nod.
The professor looked at Percy for another moment then said, "I will talk to Mr Malfoy about his behavior in class, and I'll give Gryffindor 15 points for Percy's act. Just tell him to not make of habit of it just to gain points." After one last look at Percy Professor McGonagall left.
I looked at my friends, "Well let's hope she gives Malfoy what he deserves, and takes more than 15 points away!"
Ron clapped me on the shoulder, "I'll second that!"
We didn't talk much more until Madam Pomfrey came out of her office. "Class is ending now, the three of you have to get to class. He shouldn't wake up before you get back so don't worry. Besides, you'll do him no good sitting here worrying."
She quickly got us out of the hospital wing and we were off to Charms.
This was officially the longest charms class I have ever had to sit through! It seemed like Professor Flitwick just would not stop talking.
When the class finally ended the three of us hurried back to the hospital wing, and found Percy still sleeping.
We all just sat there for a few minutes until Hermione said, "If we are just going to be sitting here we might as well start some work."
Slowly Ron and I get out our Transfigurations homework and start working silently. After about 15 minutes, I saw Percy shift slightly.
I set my books down and scoot closer to my brother. He clenched his fist and I heard him groan slightly. What surprised is it was the groan he makes in the morning when I make him get up early, not one of pain.
"Percy?" I said quietly.
He reached his right hand up to run his eyes, "Harry, shh I'm sleeping!" He slurred.
"Percy come on, wake up," I urged.
He took his right hand off his face and started to stretch, but stopped abruptly and let out a stifled scream of pain.
"Holy-" his eyes were wide open and full of pain. "What the-?"
Suddenly realization dawned on him and he closed his eyes. As he slowly put his arm back on the bed his expression became full of pain. I laid my hand on his left arm, and he slowly turned his head to look at me.
"Congratulations Percy," I tell him lightly. "you broke my record of quickest admission into the hospital wing!"
My brother smiled and laughed slightly but stopped when the pain increased. "Listen man, I really don't go looking for any of this to happen, it just sort of does."
Ron and Hermione both laugh, "Yeah that definitely runs in the family mate" Ron tells him.
Shortly after that Madam Pomfrey comes hurrying in, "I though I heard more conversation!" She turns to look at Percy, "I knew you were going to cause me nothing but trouble!"
She pulled the blanket back and I could see blood bleeding through the bandages.
"Do I want to know how you managed to reopen the wound?" She asks slightly harshly.
Percy smiles shyly, "I stretched before I remembered what happened."
Madam Pomfrey sighed and shook her head. "You three leave us. I need to tend to his wound again. Come back after dinner if you wish, but leave for now!"
I share a look with Ron and Hermione and they both leave. I look over at Percy and grip his left arm. "I'll be back soon."
Percy smiled and bats his eyelashes, "I'll be counting the minutes!" He says to me like a love stuck teenager.
I laugh, "Dork!"
"Wow, I'm insulted!"
"Bye Percy!" I say as I leave the hospital wing. I hear him respond quietly just before the door closes behind me.
Comment and all that stuff.
Peace.
