--Gumballs pov--
"Ugh do I have to wake up just 5 more minutes Anais please." I ask as a lazy cat myself.
"*Sigh* Gumball you can't just live life just eating, sleeping, and procrastinating soon you'll need responsibilities that means you need a job a car a house mabye a wife but what i mean is you need to get used to the life around you not give up on the first step of the mountain." Anais lectured me about adulthood.
"I see you're point but I don't care." I heard a sigh of disappointment and Anais mumbling why do I even try.
Ok Gumball today you sleep for the longest possible time you can most likely do, just believe in yourself yep it's coming and now time for my dream, jeez I wonder what it is.
I soon dozed off and opened my eyes.
I saw glitches and a frame of a black cartoonish cat along with a huge sword then a kid with no mouth screaming nooooo then a purple dragon standing next to a fat golden bellied crocodile with a red cape and crown then a frame of static then a shot of space and then a pink ball then a purple flaming katana from someone who looked like... me? Yet he was purple and had that stupid luck hat and for the final shot I saw a waxy necked horse with a skull for a head and no lower jaw with an infinitely long neck saying take the sword I kept hearing the voice saying take the sword until I saw a sword come out of my chest.
And then I woke up and responded.
Whoa that was quite weird. I thought staring at Darwin's bowl then out the window and soon I just looked up at Anais' bed thinking about my dream and now wondering is Anais is right have I just been an idiot? nah I'm not an adult yet I at least I got
So I got up and went to eat some toast and mom asked me how my extra 5 minutes.
"Well I had this weird dream of static and other dumb stuff like this silver sword and a skelehorse with a long neck but if I'm sure of one thing i never want to be a chosen one." I told my family.
my mom who looks a lot like me with blue fur and a big head and is the head of the house, Darwin who is an orange fish with arms and legs but no neck or figurative spine, dad who is a pink rabbit and loves to eat but is also less of the man of the house, and Anais who is like dad in features but is the smartest person here yet also the youngest.
they all looked straight at me confused like if I was a madman.
"Gumball may I talk to you privately?" mom asked looking concerned.
"sure mom." I said wondering why she's so worried.
we soon went inside the living room then upstairs.
" ok gumball I want to know if any of your friends have been offering you anything... strange?" she asked grabbing a weird cellphone with a tube on it.
"no not recently I told her." as she looked at me from different angles.
she then stuck the tube thing in my mouth and after a few seconds she took it out.
"ok Gumball but if anyone offers you anything on this list don't take it, understood?" she told me.
"yes mom I understand." I said confused.
"ok good, I know that you're going to grow up and I'm glad but here take this it's a list of what not to take." she said a she handed me a slip of paper.
after that she gave me a kiss on my cheek and waved me goodbye.
soon after Anais, Darwin, and I waited at the bus stop and the black and yellow striped vehicle finally arrived.
as we walked up the stairs on the bus I sat next to Anais on the back of the bus.
it was pure silence until.
"ok I'll bite what are you doing?" she asked.
"well I wanted to say I'm sorry for... not caring and I hope that I can learn from my mistakes." I said giving as much heart as I can into it.
"ha, you couldn't learn anything even if it was burned into your brain!" Tobias said meaning to insult me.
"well you- uh, you- umm, you can't look at, a uh, you can't look at a cow without thinking about your mom." I said with shuddering, how can I have insulted so badly?
" well you should've wore shoes today." he said.
"wait what do ya-" *crunch*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed after my foot was crushed like a leaf in autumn.
