Alice ran past all the big rocks while picking dried blood off her skin. She ran until she was in a beautiful garden. She was on a small path that looked to be created by an animal. Plants, stems, flowers, and leaves towered above her and surrounded her. She bent down to admire a rainbow-colored rose. She stroked it gently, but it snapped at her. She quickly yanked her hand away. Alice stood up and continued walking.

She saw something pink and furry out of the corner of her eye. It looked like it was bigger than Alice. She quietly followed the path and soon discovered how the path was being created. A giant, pink caterpillar was slowly making its way out of the garden. It had a tail like a lion's tail. Being the curious girl Alice was, she stepped on its tail. He turned around. His eyes were endless pits of darkness and his mouth was full of thousands of razor-sharp teeth.

He flicked a long tongue at her as he spoke. "You little bitch! I was making this path for YOU!"

"Why the hell would you do that?" Alice asked.

"We've been expecting you," he said with a snicker. "Everyone in Wonderland is preparing for you."

"But why?!" Alice yelled.

"Oh, I can't tell you that," he replied.

The caterpillar turned and continued making the path. Alice followed.
