𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 of term could have played out. Like a romcom or telenovela, the main character would find themselves either the shining star, intermixed with their cliche elite clique, boasting about their last vacation to Morocco where they dazzled in bronze dainty sand with mimosas and daiquiris in hand with the snap of their thumb; or isolated to the library with their one friend who simply said hello out of kindness because they once were in their shoes and knew the misfortune of not being someones' flavor of the week.

Charisma wished she had been one of the few who left Spain for a wild adventure of drunken kisses by a male she could bid adieu right after and devouring the shining sun but instead she hid like a coward in her own home, getting intoxicated by her lonesome. Not that anyone knew of course.

Somehow Charisma Villada found herself intermingled between both sides of the high school food chain. While her brother, who hadn't even started his first day, was already deemed a E lister or bottom feeder, to not be included in any activities and ignored until he refused to show his face; Chari had fallen from being A to a D or E - hell the brunette didn't even know, nor did she care... to a certain extent.

She knew she was no longer on top beside Lu since the dark haired bombshell beauty had no issue flashing her dirty glances and mumbling insults loud enough for the group and Chari herself to hear. Lu's hatred towards Charisma wasn't only fueled from Polo's accusations against Guzman's sister, the flame was ignited more so due to the secret relationship, if that's what some would identify it as, Charisma had once upon a time, before things went to shit with Guzman. She didn't blame her old friend for switching up on her, Charisma did break girl code by sleeping with her friends' boyfriend.

The only few who willingly smiled her way and still spoke to her like a sane and decent human being were Nadia and Cayetana. Both who were deemed a D, Nada by financial stability and Cayetana, well pretty much self-explanatory. It was Chari who helped Lu in spilling the tea and revealing the new girls' true identity of nothing but a pauper in sheeps' clothing. The fact her brothers' girlfriend still talked to her after being humiliated baffled her but surveyed as proof of Charismas' assumptions: Cayetana was so desperate for popularity and richess, she could care less as to how to achieve it, even if it meant defaming her virtues and integrity.

While Carla was an A and still spoke to Charisma when she felt like it, it stunned her to see that of all who seemed to follow suit and do as is to please his hierarchy, Valerio was one A lister who still sought to kiss the ground Chari walked upon. Where that put Charisma, she had no idea, but the youngest Villada was thankful she hadn't completely been shunned to where she was alone walking the halls and eating lunch, though she felt the darkened eyes refusing to leave her.

Still, it was better than she anticipated.

The first few periods had blown in a breeze and Charisma surprised herself by easily drowning out voices spreading gossip while examining her like her skin would reveal new information as good as a news column. With a few comments made here and there to Cayetana, who smiled so tightly the girl thought a tooth would break loose and spoke miles a minute about everything and nothing, Chari made do with her time. It was nice having company, though she had no choice on who she received it from, she was even more thrilled to have been able to sneak off and find some quiet time to herself in the midst of lunch break, sitting off upon a cemented bench underneath a tree midquad.
