𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 a mere twenty-four hours in Valerio's head. He was conflicted, his ribcage feeling as if it were plucked from his chest and pulled apart like a wishbone - each piece going in two directions, one in the gutter where his father kicked him to the sewer, and the other with his half-sister Lu, who dangled him for her own beneficial pleasure.

The nineteen year old was prone to pain, living life on the edge since he could walk on two feet and vivaciously and amorously speak his way through anyone to get what he desired most. Drunk escapades resulting in scratches and stitches he couldn't remember abetting, fights he vividly remembered over stealing someone's partner or refusal to share his pick up at the club. Regardless --- the playboy was still street smart, if not more so book smart, knowing which actions would result in despair, and often went down the rough patch, knowing full well he'd come crashing into a brick wall and be hit upside the head.

Valerio Montesinos was a grenade seeking the one hand to secure the ring with a gentle touch.

Lacking a motherly bond, a modeled affection from either parent, the boy desperately wanted a life of love to call his. At first look, the curly haired boy screamed an idealized picturesque of a handsome rich boy, who knew exactly how to flaunt his charm and work his charisma, to his benefit -- all while dowsing himself in the elite night scene, a new woman, new man, whichever his sights desired the time being, seeking the one true aspect in life he eagerly leeched for ---- devotion.

Every partner that ran their finger down his chest and pressed their lips to the lobe of his ear, promising the boy of sweet nothings, had Valerio whipped around their frail finger. While they only sought his extra curricular activities of warming a bed in more ways than one and exclusively having connections to higher powers in the drug fiend, the broken teen often mistook their advantage as an act of love. Not that he would allow his true colors to flourish, he still had a rep to protect. Player or not, they still acquired a weakness, and for Valerio, he happened to have two --- Charisma Villada and Lucrecia Montesinos.
