Bobbi didn't go to biology, instead she went back to the Pembrooke and began packing, Hermione asked her if she was okay, as she came storming in, tears falling down her face, Bobbi only replied it was time for her to go back to New York for good.
At this Hermione messaged Veronica who told the gang all about Bobbi's plan to leave and all but Jughead arrived at the Pembrooke to try persuade her otherwise.
"I'm fine, Mrs. Lodge really, I just feel like I've overstated my welcome," Bobbi said as a knock was heard on her door, but the person at the door didn't go away, instead opened the door.
Bobbi turned to it expecting to see Hermione, so gulped when she saw all of her friends their faces plastered with confusion and sadness. She gulped and turned back to packing, she wasn't in to mood to talk to anyone, to explain what was going on would just be too painful.
"What's going on?" Veronica asked, walking closer to the girl who was packing in a rush.
"I'm going home," Bobbi replied bluntly as she continued to jam clothes into her suitcase, not caring about neatness.
"This is your home," The Lodge girl added, a chorus of agreement followed from her friends who stood around her, sad at the situation.
"New York is my home, that's where my family are," Bobbi spat, she was angry, she knew she'd regret the words that came out of her mouth in a couple days, she'd regret hurting the people closest to her as they attempted to help and be nothing but calm.
"What about Jughead?" Bobbi didn't even know who said it, but as soon as it was said she slammed her hands into the bed and finally turned around, her eyes cold and heavy, her face streaked with red and the remnants of her makeup.
"What about him?" She yelled, venom lacing her voice, "He broke up with me, he shouldn't care if I leave or not. If anything it's better for him: he won't have to see my face."
The group remained silent, they hadn't actually known Jughead had broken up with her so now they understood a little more, though still not entirely. They didn't know what to say, how to respond to her outburst or the fact she had only gone back to packing. They were worried for their friend, at this moment she seemed void of any emotion bar anger. It couldn't be healthy, they all thought she should've been upset.
Bobbi was upset, she was utterly devastated, she loved Jughead - still did - and the fact they weren't together anymore broke her. But she was also angry, she was angry more than anything. Angry and Jughead, angry at herself, angry at Betty, at Veronica, at Reggie, at her parents, at everyone. Everyone who caused her life to be the way it was.
She knew she was being unreasonable, she knew she didn't have the right to be angry at everyone who was in her life after she left Nee York and the people who were there before. But she was, and she would be for a while. That's why she had to leave.
Bobbi Johnson had the greatest friends, even after her fit of rage they all (minus Jughead and Betty, who left feeling to guilty to be around Bobbi any longer) accompanied the girl to the airport, Veronica even making sure Bobbi got onto the next flight to Nee York, with the power of her name which was known throughout all of Riverdale.
Bobbi contemplated taking her boarding pass and just walking into the airport where she knew they couldn't follow her, but they were there for her when she was going through a hard time, and even if they didn't want her to leave they supported her decision to, which provided her some happiness in the overwhelming anger and sadness.
"I love you guys," Bobbi said, breaking the long silence that had fallen over the usually loud group. She looked at them, tears forming in her eyes, finally for a reason other than Jughead. "I'll miss you all. You've made my time in Riverdale absolutely amazing and I couldn't have wished for a better group to be friends with. We'll still message everyday, I promise. And I'll return, one day."
They stared back at her taking in her words, each and every one of them also on the verge of tears mirroring Bobbi. Af if in synch they all lunged forward pulling the girl into a massive group hug.
After they all pulled apart, Bobbi made sure to have heartfelt goodbyes with every single one of them, reminiscing over the times they'd spent together, Bobbi even occasionally letting out a little laugh. When she finished her talk with Veronica, she pulled her to the side.
"Tell Betty that although I'm angry now, I will forgive her and that I love her," Bobbi said, causing the both raven haired girls to lightly smile.
Veronica nodded, "And Jug?"
"I don't have anything to say to him," Bobbi said, causing Veronica to sigh but shake her head as if to say okay.
Bobbi began to walk away, heading into where the gates of the airport were. With one last glance and wave back to the people she considered her second family, she made her way back to New York.
