✰Chapter 10 ✰

September

We all sat down at the barrens on logs in a circle.

Stanley with his face fully wrapped with a piece of hair sticking out with his Curley puff.

I had a black eye, though it wasn't as noticeable as it was a few weeks ago.

Beverly was telling us about what she saw while she was in the dead lights.

"We we're older" she said.

"Was I still cute?" Richie asked laughing.

"You grew into your looks" Beverly laughed.

We all sat there for a few seconds then bill stood up picking up a small piece of glass.

"Swear, if it ever comes back, we'll come back to" he said.

Beverly was the first to stand up.

Then the rest of us did, though Stanley hesitated.

He cut his hand then the rest of ours.

One he finished the last person, Ben, we all joined hands.

We all stood there for a second and then sat back down.

We all talked about the good times that we had this summer, cause they all weren't bad.

We talked about back to school which was just in a few days.

"Well I've gotta head home" Ben said.

We nodded as he walked away.

"Same goes for me" mike said.

"See you in school" I smiled at him.

He smiled back and started on his way home.

Eddie and Richie were giggling together.

I wish one of them would just say they were in love.

"I guess it's time for me to go, see you guys in school" Stanley said walking away.

Next, Richie got up.

"I hate to leave because I know you all will miss me so very much but I have to. Goodbye to you Eddie, Bill, Beverly. And to you hot stuff" Richie said winking at me.

I lightly punched him when he walked past. "Bye rich"

"So your moving away with your aunt" I ask.

"Ya I leave tomorrow" Beverly nods.

"Oh, I'm gonna miss you a lot. I'm definitely gonna miss having another girl in the group" I laughed.

"You have eddie" she laughed, Eddie didn't hear her though.

"Ya I guess" I smiled.

"I have to go home and finish some last minute packing. Thanks for everything this summer" she smiled.

I smiled back getting up to hug her.

Bill got up to hugging her.

Even Eddie did.

"Bye Beverly" we all said as she walked away.

She turned around flashing her beautiful smile.

Eddie say there playing with the flowers.

His watched beeped telling him to take his meds.

"Eddie aren't you gonna take you're meds?" I asked.

"Y-ya y-you're watched b-beeped" bill said.

"There bullshit" Eddie said.

I nodded in agreement.

I had noticed today he didn't wear his fanny pack but then I also remembered he threw it away at Neibolt.

The sun was starting to set.

"Moms gonna have it with us if we stay out later then dusk" Eddie said.

"You can head home Ed's, I'll be right behind you" I said smiling.

He gave bill a death glare then started walking towards his bike.

Bill turned to me.

"Hey" I smiled.

"H-hey" he said back smiling.

"S-so I've b-been t-thinking" he started.

"Hmmm" was my response.

"I w-want us t-to b-be official" he said.

I never thought I would hear those words come out of his mouth.

I nodded.

"S-so Kay K-Kaspbrak, will you b-be my g-girlfriend?" He asked smiling.

I nodded. "Yes"

We sat there for a few more minutes together talking about going back to school. And how sad it was that summer was coming to an end.

"I just wish this summer wasn't as chaotic, but it's like I feel we all got closer together" I said.

"Y-ya that m-make s-sense" he said.

"Y-you b-better s-start heading h-home before y-your m-mom c-comes a-after m-me" bill says.

I laughed.

"Okay" I smiled.

I got up and started walking away.

I then heard running footsteps after me.

Bill stopped right in-front of me.

Before I could say something he kissed me.

I went back to the night at the fair.

It was different now, Bill Denbrough was my boyfriend.

I smiled into the kiss and started kissing back.

Once we finished our kiss and pulled away we both smiled.

"I love you Bill Denbrough"

"I love you Kay Kaspbrak"
