✰ Chapter Four ✰

I woke up the next morning feeling better then I did yesterday at bens house.

I got out of bed and went downstairs to make breakfast.

I saw Eddie organizing his pill case.

"I already did yours. Bill has been calling all morning. He said to give him a call when you can. He was really worried about you after you left in a hurry yesterday" Eddie sighs.

"Thanks but you know I don't take those things" I say.

He shrugs.

"Eddie I've gotta tell you something. Your gonna think I'm crazy" I say sitting down next to him.

"Shoot" he says nodding at me.

"Remember when I said I saw the clown, and that's why I fell off my bike?"

"Ya of course" he said.

"I don't think it was my imagination" I say.

"I don't think it was either" he says sighing.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I saw it too" he says.

"What?" I ask.

"I saw the clown. And this thing. It was like a walking infection" he says looking down "I thought I was gonna die"

"When?" I say.

"Walking home from bens last night. That creepy house on Neibot" he says.

"Oh Eddie I'm so sorry that I wasn't there" I say hugging him.

"It's fine. I'm still here" he says.

"Do you think anyone else has seen it?" I ask biting my lip in the thought.

What if we're all just to afraid to say something in the thought of embarrassment?

"I don't know. How about this, You call bill to see what he needs and then we'll call the other losers" he says shaking his head.

"Okay sounds good" I say.

I go to the phone and type in bills number.

He picks up.

"H-h-hey" he says, a smile rising to my face.

"Hi. Eddie said you were worried about me from yesterday. I'm okay I just didn't feel well" I say.

"I'm g-g-glad do hear y-your okay" he says.

"Ya. I'm sorry to worry you" I purse my lips.

"D-don't w-w-worry about it. I w-wanted to a-ask y-y-you s-s-something" he says.

"Ya?" I say.

"Who are you talking too?" I hear my moms voice behind me.

"Just, Bill" I say.

"I've heard from some of the towns people you and him are more then just friends. Hang up the phone" she says.

"Mom he's just a fri-" I get cut off by her.

"Hang up the phone" she says.

I sigh.

"I've gotta go." I say.

"Just meet me and the rest of the losers on Main Street." He says and then hangs up.

I then go up to my room to get ready.

I shower and do the rest of the personal care things then put on my outfit.
