DARCY

It's been about a week now in the new house and it's kind of growing on me. The way the thin walls whispers your name when you touch it, or how when you were alone you would feel company. Tate and I spent a lot if time in the house, rarely going out to the public beach. Today Tate was over once again sitting on my warm mattress with me. I loved his presence, he made me feel special the way his eyes would twinkle when he looked at me, or how I could make his dimple stuck out like a sore thumb. I loved the little scar on his face showing he can over come things, his baggy clothes mean nothing to me because he was perfectly imperfect. And to me, that was perfect.

"Lets play a game called... truth or dare." Tate said, smirking at his own suggestion. My eyes widen causing my long blacj eyelashes to touch my eyebrows.

"Ok." I smirked back, trying to be confident. Tate did his adorable giggle that I had gotten so attached to and leaned in, pushing his soft lips on my tan ear.

"Truth or dare?" He breathed, sending a chill of excitement throughout my body. He slowly went back to his slouched position with the same smug face on, waiting for my answer.

"Dare." I said without truly thinking about what his beautiful mind could make me do. He bit his lip and close his eyes thinking of something entertaining for me to do. I sat patiently, a knot growing in my stomach formed of nervousness and teenage hormones. His smooth eyelids fluttered open as he released his bottom lip from his teeth.

"I dare you to sit on my lap until the game is over." I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as he patted his lap, begging for me to fulfill his command. I got up making my bed creak a bit and crawled on top of his perfect body, placing my hands on his broad shoulders. He let out a tiny moan from his parted lips but I ignored it, pretending I didn't hear.

"Truth or dare Tater?" I slightly laughed, his eyebrows raising in amusement. He chuckled deeply and placed his strong hands firmly on my waist.

"Dare." He spoke with a hint of cockiness. He turned me on, I'm not gonna lie. And right now, he was teasing me. I could see it in the way his thumbs drew mini circles on my bare skin. Damn this short black shirt.

"I dare you to... kiss m-me," That was awkward. His smile got twice the size it was originally, the way his white teeth shone at me. He leaned in so that the sides of our noises were touching. I looked at his captivating eyes as I lightly panted. Finally he closed his eyes and met his lips with mine. I closed mine as well, letting his fresh scent over come me. The moment our lips connected, I felt something in the pit of my stomach that said "you found him.". He broke away and starred at me in awe.

"That was the best kiss I've ever had Darcy Styles." He gasped, rubbing his nose on mine. I gave him a loud outburst of a giggle and let him kiss my flushed cheek. I looked at him and tilted my head to the right a little, examining the boy I had just met about 8-9 days ago.

"I've never been so comfortable around a person before." I whispered truthfully. He nodded and grabbed my hands in his, comparing the size.

"Same." He replied quietly as if he were soaking up the moment.

Well hell. I was too.
