DARCY

The summer finally came to an end after 4 weeks of living in that house. Today was the first day of school and I was nervous. Hell I was scared. I looked at the clock that laid to the right of my bed, it read 5:30. I let out a small sigh and hopped out if my cocoon.

"Morning." I heard Tate's voice softly greet. I gasped a little. goosebumps growing on my cold arms. I looked at him and shook my tangly hair.

"You scared me." I let out a small chuckle. He smiled as if he felt accomplished. He walked over and wrapped his warm arms over me. I closed my eyes and let him hold me.

"What are you gonna wear for your first day of school missy?" He joked, a childish smile playing on his kissable lips. I bite my lip, hiding my amusement. It didn't work at all.

"Um maybe miss me jeans, white vans, a black and white stripped crop top, with my olive green jacket?" I asked, seeing if Tate approved. He smiled and nodded a little.

"I like it. But you look beautiful in everything so it doesn't really matter." He shyly complimented. I got up on my tip toes and kissed his adorable nose then padded to my closet, pulling out the items I said I would wear.

"I'll be right back." I said to Tate, balancing the pile if clothes in my arms as I got to the bathroom. I quickly got dressed and put on my natural looking makeup but adding nude lipstick this time. I opened a cabinet to see my perfume waiting for me to spray it. I put it on and brushed my teeth quickly, not wanting Tate to be alone for so long. The last thing I did was straighten my long hair, it almost reached my hips.

"I need a haircut..." I mumbled as I walked out if the bathroom into my own, finding Tate putting my school books in my back pack. I smiled and snuck up behind him. I got up to his back and slowly snaked my arms around his waist. He let out a hum and turned around to see me.

"You look absolutely stunning Darcy." He blushed. causing me to do the same.

"Darcy, time to go!" I heard my mom yell followed by the sound of my front door opening. I sighed and looked up at Tate who was ready looking at me.

"I don't want to go." I whispered. All he did was lean down and kiss my little cheek.

"Bye." He smiled. I smiled back,

"Bye." And with that, I was off to hell.
