First Headcanon: Thorin's Warrior Daughter
Y/N is the first and only daughter of the great Thorin Oakenshield Thorin and Dwalin trained Y/N to defend herself since she was young and after Smaug Thorin in fear wanted to make sure his daughter knew how to fight, and she also learned a lot of diplomacy with BalinY/N grow up and became one of the best female warriorAfter the death of her grandfather she rules side by side with Thorin almost like his adviserThorin trust his daughter and never does anything without consulting her firstShe's one of the most beautiful female dwarf that exists but any dwarf wants to marry her, because of Thorin and because she doesn't behave as a female dwarf shouldShe's the last one to arrive at Bilbo's house"Father!I missed you!" She says when Thorin opens the door for her. "Thank you for coming my daughter." He says hugging her. "I wouldn't miss this for the world." She says."Another one? How many of you are coming I....Oh! Hello!" A very tired Bilbo starts but quickly stops by seeing the most beautiful girl he ever seen."I'm Y/N Durin, at your service." Y/N bows and smiles at the handsome hobbit in front of her.In that night Bilbo and Y/N were always locking eyes and look away embarrassedThrough the journey Y/N was always making jokes with Kili and Fili and calming everyone. "Are you sure she's Thorin daughter?"Bilbo asks Gandalf. "Yes. Why do you say that dear Bilbo?" "Well she's just...normal! And so beautiful." He whispers the last partY/N is the one who saves Bilbo in the Stone Giants Mountain and defends him in front of ThorinWhen they leave the Goblins everyone was looking for Bilbo, and when he appears Y/N runs to him and hugs him tightly and he hugs back in relief. "I don't know what I would do without you Bilbo." "I don't either my dear."When Bilbo saves the dwarves from the elves, he and Y/N go together in the same barrel hugging each other blushing.Bilbo is jealous of Bard who was giving to much attention to the female dwarfAlready in the mountain, Y/N believes Bilbo when he tells her that her father is going crazyY/N protects Bilbo when he leaves the mountain with the stone but doesn't leave her father side inside the mountainWhen Azog comes, Y/N finds Bilbo and give him their first kiss. "Thank you for everything. I love you Bilbo." She says leaving him to fight Azog side by side her father.Y/N lies beside her father in the ground, hounded."Y/N, I love you so much, thank you for everything my beautiful daughter. "I love you too Dad!"That's when Bilbo notice her, on the ground dying"Y/N!No!No!No! Please not her!" Bilbo says trying to save her."I love you Bilbo." She says one last time. "Please,no! I love you so much Y/N!"Bilbo stays beside Y/N dead body, crying.
Second Headcanon: Thorin's Childhood Elf Friend
When Thorin was young, the king of elves Thranduil came to visit his grandfather and brought with him his adopted daughterWhile Thorin grandfather and Thranduil were meeting, Y/N met Thorin, and they became friendsFor many years Y/N keep visiting ThorinThorin only saw Y/N as a friend but one time when they stop seeing each other for quite some time Y/N comes visit againBoth now adults, they look at each other on a different way, a way they didn't know yet aboutThorin was always keeping Y/N away from other dwarves especially manBoth Thorin and Y/N became one of the greatest warriors on the dwarf side and elf sideAt the day of the Smaug attack Y/N ride side by side of her father looking in fear down at a Thorin screaming for helpY/N looks at Thranduil for orders, but he only looked at Thorin and start riding home"Father!" Y/N screams. "That is not our problem Y/N." He only says making her angrier then she rides down the mountain towards Thorin who look angry at Thranduil but with gratitude at Y/NY/N fought side by side with Thorin helping him save his peopleAfter the war with Smaug, Y/N went back home and was punished by Thranduil and never saw Thorin againThorin and Y/N meet again when they arrive at Rivendell"I know you don't trust the elves but you can trust me." Y/N says coming near the group making the dwarves celebrate in happiness confusing Bilbo"Y/N." Thorin says in shock. "Hello again Thorin." Y/N says smilingIn the huge table where they were all eating, Thorin and Y/N couldn't stop looking at each other"Who's she?" Bilbo asks Balin. "She is the only elf, Thorin and all dwarves trust." "Why?" "Because she helped us when we needed help and as you can see, they love each other."Y/N is the one that helps Thorin read the moon runesY/N also is the one who helps them escape Riverdell"Come with us, we need you." Thorin says. "We? Or you?" Y/N jokesY/N only arrived at Dale when she convinced Thranduil to goShe successfully helped Thorin stop the crazy diseaseWhen Azog arrived Y/N and the elves were the first ones to attack"That lad it sure is strong." Dwalin says making Thorin proud of her"I'm going to try find Azog." Thorin says to her. "Then I'm going with you." Y/N says. "No!" Thorin answers but when Y/N was going to respond Thranduil calls herY/N looks Thorin in the eye and suddenly she bends down and kisses him for the first time what looked like hours."Come back to me." She says. "Always." He saysAfter the battle Y/N try to find Thorin and on the way she found Bilbo crying walking towards her"Bilbo?" "I'm so sorry...." He only says passing by herShe looks straight ahead crying understanding what he said, Thorin, the love of her life was deadY/N went back with Thranduil and never loved anyone since.
