If I were to live my life... again, I'd find you sooner...

.

At first, all Jungkook feels is warmth. The type of all encompassing warmth that you'd feel if you laid out in the sun all day. And though he couldn't readily express where he was at that moment, it feels comfortable and he feels safe.

"Jungkook-shi" he hears some time later. A little faint, but it's clearly his name being called from some ways away.

He opens his eyes to see a figure before him. A young man, to be exact, that looked about his age. He smiled at him, bright and genuine, which he thought strange because he didn't look like anyone that Jungkook had met before.

The smiling boy in question is very handsome, light hair and eyes with full lips and even fuller cheeks. He found himself so busy with taking in the other's features, he nearly missed the offering the boy was holding in his outstretched hand.

A flower.

Beautiful and mostly white in color, with light tones of red and blue staining the outer petals.

He looks at the flower for a moment. The boy still holding his smile as Jungkook slowly reached out to take the flower. Only for it to disappear completely as soon as the stem graze his finger tips.

He opens his eyes for real this time, taking in the more familiar sights of his room. Like the first streams of light peeking through his tiny window or his sheets completely strewn around him.

Jungkook breathes in and out, content for the moment. Shaking off the last bits of sleep while he contemplates his dream again.

It's the same dream he's had for awhile now. The same boy whom he's never met, handing him a flower that he's never seen before.

It was strange considering he didn't know of many others who had recurring dreams as he did. And definitely not of the same subject matter. He wondered to himself, why he never had dreams of great battles or pretty landscapes.

Or at least of people he knew.

Then again considering the kind of people he knew while awake, he guessed it was a good thing that they didn't invade his dreams as well.

"JUNGKOOK-AH!" Speak of the devil.

Before they felt the need to call Jungkook again, he quickly put on his robes and ventured to the fountain nearby to wash his face. All while remembering the vibrant colors of the beautiful flower in his dream.

Jungkook traveled downstairs to the main area to readily accept his chores for the day.

Apparently the eldest daughter of the house was expecting another suitor to visit her, so of course it was important that the house look presentable. 'Can't let them know we're from a lower class!' and all that. Thus his long list of chores.

Though he guessed from the rushed scurrying of the other slaves of the house, that he wouldn't be the only one running ragged. So after chewing the last of his bread for the morning, he thought it best to get started.

It wasn't until Jungkook reached one of the final tasks on the list that he found himself instantly groan.

-Fetch two bags of apples from the market.

Now normally Jungkook wasn't the type to whine over chores. He considered himself strong enough to complete any of the laborious tasks that his family asked of him. Lighting fires in the home, burning incense in the courtyard and working in the gardens were jobs he could be found doing on any given day.
