on a saturday afternoon i found myself sitting in a cafe sharing a table with you.

its been years since i last saw you, when we bumped to each other just minutes ago i couldn't believe so.

we talked about the past, the years after us and how the years had been kind to the both of us.

the way you talk, the way you move along with your words. i'm still familiar with those little gestures of you.

it's frightening how comfortable i was like i was still living a moment in yesterday's memories.

i figured you're still the same, the warmth, the smile. what we had and everything we used to share all came back to me.

the way you made me feel then i felt it again, like distance never kept us away i could still see the you that i love, today.

but when the orders came, 3 coffees arrived. i got my caramel and yes this too was once a witness, a reminder of us.

but when you reached out for yours i found a golden bond, a ring on your left hand.

Need not to elaborate, i get it now, you had changed.

..and i now understood why 3 cups came.

STAY home, healthy, safe, and strong.

love,
