She lays on her bed, as she tucks herself to sleep.

The moon watches, the only witness to her tears.

As the moon said, "don't weep my dear, there's still much keep.."

Betrayed by her glistening eyes, she looked up and said

"Let me grieve just this once moon, let me create an ocean for things i'm yet to set free.."

She cried for missed chances, she cried for what ifs.

She cried for lost times and buried memories.

Underneath blankets, the storm weakens.

Her heart tired, the moon hidden.

Until the sun came. She's still asleep.

Hoping when she wakes, no more seas, oceans or lakes.
