Bianca noir: Badflower

In and out

I was in and out of sleep. but this sleep wasn't like any other. I could feel blunt pokes around my skull and organs. Some of them felt weird and ticklish. I knew perfectly well what was happening to me. The government had hired doctors to observe how my inside systems worked. They tested on me sending radioactive signals to my power sources to test how they reacted to different chemicals and materials. they were trying to find my weak spots and a way to control or take them away. I had no control over my body I couldn't even open my eyes. It felt as though the government had a huge fist wrapped around my mind and whenever I tried to resist it just gripped tighter and tighter till one day it became unbearable. It released its grip entirely.

I opened my eyes to people in scrubs rushing around me. 1 collapsed an energy drainer onto my ankle. I yelled out in pain. It felt like a searing hot knife piercing my skin and my bone. I made eye contact with the people in scrubs through teary eyes. I gritted my teeth so hard I thought they would break. By now everyone in the room paused what they were doing. I had never been conscious when they did that so it was a new experience for me. Someone stuck a needle into my neck and slowly I drifted back into a deep sleep. 

I don't know how long since that incident but they finally stopped prodding round underneath my skin. I had some control over my muscles. I could hear nothing until a pair of feet walked towards me. I knew those footsteps anywhere. I opened my eyes to josh sitting beside me. I sat up and tried to hug him but I hit the glass. Fuck.  I couldn't speak either. I made a show of motioning it to Josh. he took a few guesses and got it right on the third go. He pulled out a pad of paper and a marker. " here you go." Thank you. hows life on the other side of the glass? "it's ok. they let me wander the halls. sometimes I ended up on the wrong side of a door and got my assed kicked. they told me what happened. Are you alright now?" He asked Fuck they were testing on me as they test on animals. I need to get out of here. " Lucky for you I devised a plan. I brought one of those things that you can remove the glass with. so I'm getting you out of here." with that he took out the glass remover and stuck it on the glass. 

He scooped me up and set me down by the door. " can u run let alone walk?" I tested my feet but they had pins and needles. I pointed down at the energy bracelet. "Hmm, what are we going to do with that?" He helped me hobble over to a table. On it was the pair of plyers that they used to place it on me. While I held the table he bent down to take them off. It took him a few tries but it came off. "that was surprisingly easy." I felt the power surge rushing through my veins and arteries washing all the numbness away. I tried to speak and it worked. "yes. fuck this government and let's get out of here." "agreed." He ran ahead of me and I followed closely still getting used to my newfound balance. 

On the way, he knocked out a few guards I was quite impressed. When we went down to the bottom floor we ran into a little trouble. Some guards spotted us. We spun around a corner and waited. The first one rounded a corner a little too tightly. He ran straight into my fist. I delivered a killing blow to the side of his neck and he crumpled down to the floor like a ragdoll. I stashed his keycard in my bra for later. Josh was taking on the next one but it was a little too big for him. so I helped him out. I placed a blow to his temple he instantly blacked out. Josh stored his keycard in his back pocket.  Incase any guards were following we ran like the wind to the exit. 

It was good to get some fresh air but I couldn't enjoy it too long as I had work to do. I ran to the nearest car and started hijacking it. I ran to another car and levered off the number plates and place it on this car.  I jumped in the car and floored the peddle. We took off and Josh was thrown back in his seat. I pulled out of the facility and onto a state highway.
