Withering snowflakes
Inch towards the ground.
Nearly caught in the wind,
They make their way down.
Envious children
Reach to grasp them.Spry offspring
Prance about.
Riveted by the sun,
Icarus would be jealous.
Newly bloomed flowers
Greet curious eyes.Sunbeams bathe the earth
Under bright blue skies.
Merry laughter echoes,
Mixing with soft chatter.
Evening comes late
Ringing with crickets.As leaves fall
Under sparse foliage,
Thoughts of colors
Untangle on branches,
Mixing reds and yellows.
New days approach.
