The group of friends walked through the fairground.
There were sounds of laughter and screams, the sound of winning games and whooshing of the coasters. Kairi and Claudia walked up front, she felt bad that he had no one to be with over this little holiday. Laura and Alejandro grew closer, Claudia and Mattia were a couple; she felt sorry for him.

"So partner, what ride we going on first?" Claudia asked, nudging his side.

"You don't have to do this Claud, I appreciate it, but it's alright." Kairi smiled at her.

"Shut up. They're coming with us, but you should pick"

"The Twister?" He said.

Mattia approached, putting his arm around his girlfriend and best friend. Pushing them quicker to get in the queue for the Twister. A ride that spun you in a circle whilst also spinning in a circle. Claudia's stomach churned slightly watching the ride in action. Giving Kairi a slight punch for making her go on it.

The group went around all rides, going on their favourites multiple times, Kairi got to pick them, they made him feel included, even if he didn't word that he felt alone: Claudia was a good enough friend to realise it herself. It brightened his mood indefinitely.

It came up to the final ride; the Ferris Wheel. For this Mattia called dibs on Claudia for this ride, he was understanding, this was how his girlfriend was: she was caring like that. He held her close, arms wrapped around her small waist, his head rested on Claudia's shoulder.

"The views so pretty up here" Claudia stared in awe.

"I know." Mattia responded, staring straight at his girlfriend.

"You cheeseball." She smiled, pushing his shoulder slightly.

"God I love you." Mattia muttered under his breath, his eyes widened that he had said it out loud, but in his favour Claudia hadn't heard what he had said, she wasn't supposed to.. not just yet.

Once off the wheel, the pair parted from the others, heading to the mini-games; as cliché as it was, Mattia wanted to win the girl a teddy bear, he played Hook a Duck, Ring Toss, Basketball and Soccer games. The boy wasn't doing so well in winning. He came to his last game, he had to throw a bean bag at cans to win. Claudia had hope in him still. He threw his first shot, knocking two out cans; then the second, knocking out a singular can; the third knocking the final three. He had won!

"Now pick a teddy bear and let's get out of here babe." Pride gleamed in his face, he had won the biggest prize there and it wasn't the teddy bear. Claudia picked out a baby pink teddy bear and hugged it tightly on the walk back to the car, looking like an oversized child, her body covered 80% in pink fur.

Tomorrow they would travel back home, the great time they had would soon become memories. Mattia didn't find the right time to tell the girl how he felt but knew he have another chance, he genuinely felt content that Claudia and him would have a bright future together.
