I expected Chris to show up dressed like the diva he is. I expected him to flirt with the guys in my class. What I didn't expect was for him to show up twenty minutes before my class finished and basically take over the class. We were calling out the answers to the exercise Mrs. Landan had given earlier in the class- and by we I mean a girl nicknamed 'bookkeeper' and I- when my brother walked in and sat at the front desk, between the two of us. Book barely looked up from writing in the black notebook she always had while I flipped the page in my sketchpad to hide the drawing I was working on.

He was answering the questions almost as fast as Book and I which drew the attention of the dancers to himself and our table. The girls and some gay guys began to check him out. This clearly annoyed him because he leaned back and put his arm around my shoulders and kissed my cheek before turning back and smirking at Leigh. When Mrs. Landan finally dismissed the class, the three of us were the first out of the class and were halfway out of the halls when a hand grabbed Chris and yanked him away from me.

"Whatcha doing with a geek like her?" Cloe asked, rubbing her hand up and down his bicep and twirling her blonde hair. "When there are prettier girls around you, like me?" He glanced back towards me with a disgusted look before a sly smile made it to his face. I glanced behind them to see Blake and Leigh watching us. Why do they try so hard to make my life a living hell? "I know you don't go to this school, but are you coming to pre-crash? It's supposed to be an extra cred talent show but the dancers and I have basically-" her high-pitched rambling voice was cut off by Christin's hand across her mouth.

"Thanks. I'm flattered that you hate my Angel so much that you target me but you're not my type." He took her hand off of him and stepped back. I hid my laugh at the hidden meaning behind his words. Book was holding her stomach and her grin was evident even beneath the black facemask she almost always wore.

"What are you talking about? I'm everyone's type." She defended, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Book and I couldn't hold back our laughter at this point and burst out laughing. "Why are you laughing, you creepy witch!" She yelled at the girl next to me.

"They're laughing because they know my type isn't some whiny, stuck up, jealous, blonde slut. I probably can ask any of the guys in this whole school and find that you are their type. So unless you shave your head and grow a pair you can keep banging your best friend's man over there and leave me and my sister out of it." Chris did a u-turn and walked past us towards the car. The two of us watched as Leigh pushed Blake off of her and slapped him before walking towards the car and getting in.

We were heading over to Book's house to hang out for a bit. Five minutes into the drive she had her legs draped over my lap and her mask pulled down to her chin revealing a freckled nose and cheeks and thin pink lips. "How is he your brother and you're not a werewolf?" I choked on my juice and Chris slammed on the brakes. What?

"What?" Chris mirrored my thoughts. She didn't move from her relaxed position or even open her eyes.

"You're a werewolf," she stated, pointing at him as he started driving again. "Christin Tate Arthur of Haven Woods. Son of the Alpha and Angelica's dad, right?" She opened her eyes and met mine. "So why didn't you become one when your dad did?"

I was stunned when she asked. How did she know so much about me? Looking at her now, she really did dress almost like a warlock but it was different somehow. Under her open black cloak, she wore a black long-sleeved turtleneck, tucked into black leather jeans with silver chains. She also had silver chains around her neck and on her mask. Her heavy army boots were on the floor of the car by my feet. Maybe she was a witch of some sort.

"They tried but it didn't work."

Hay hay! I hope you enjoyed the chapter. What's up with that 'Bookkeeper' chick? How did she know about Chris? Why didn't the change work on Angelica?

Question: Do you prefer Maths or English? I like them both but my sister says that's not allowed.
