Chapter 8

Ellie POV

Reaching the hotel we went up to our rooms and start freshening up before we head down for dinner and team meeting. When Lorgazo and I reached the conference room we were the last ones there upon arrival Caity and Sammy stood up and ran towards me grabbing me by the arms and dragged me towards the seat in between me. I looked around coach wasn't here yet and the rest of the girls just gave us weird looks I just gave them a shrug." Hey Ellie so how's your girl?" Sammy asked. I looked at her confused," what girl? " They just rolled their eyes at me " the one at the park, Avery isn't it?" sighing "she's not my girl." "But you want her to be, right?" Caity asked.

I gave them a sad look "yeah I want her, she's so beautiful,funny have a great sense of humor...but I don't know I've got soccer and you know we travel a lot I don't know if she's into long distance."

Caity and Sammy looked at each other. " okay but if you really like her you should at least get to know her before approaching her seriously," caity said with so much seriousness Sammy nodding along.

"Yeah I was thinking that I don't wanna go in strong, I want to hang out with her more I feel like I can tell her everything."

"Well babe you're already hooked on her!"

"I know Sammy!" Do you think she's going to like me like that?"

"What do you mean? Of course she's going to like you, you're smart,funny,beautiful you also have a great sense of humor so  basically you guys are a perfect match."

"Yeah I feel like I should protect her." I looked up and saw coach is standing in front ready for the meeting.

"Alright girls tommorow is going to be hard, freshen up and breaky is at 7-9am no later then that so make sure not to sleep in," he said looking at Emily.

"That was one time," she whined. Everyone laughed at her. "Well make sure it's the last." She saluted him "sir yes sir!"

He started talking about training tomorrow, the tactics and everything. I think I zones out because everyone starts to stand up filling up their plates.

I stood up grabbed a plate and start filling my plate.

After dinner we decided to have a team bonding at Sam and Caitlin's room.

Once everyone is ready Lyds started a game of truth or dare (made up) "okay who wants to go first?"

"Ummm...Chloe truth or dare?"
Chloe looked at her suspiciously " I think I'm going to pick dare!"

"Okay I dare you to tell us your kinks."

"Rahhh! Sammy yelled.
"You gotta be shitting me, umm..okay I like my nipple bitten she said shyly."

"Okay.." Chloe looked at me with a smirk. Ohh no this is going to be bad.

"Ellie truth or dare?"
"Umm...Dare." okay I dare you to give the person on your left a hickey."

Shit! I looked to my left and saw Hayley.

"Can I? Will you be okay with it? " " Yeah it's cool!"

She tilt her head to the side I start forming a hickey on her neck. "Damn Ellie that's a huge one!"

"Sorry I didn't mean to." It's okay!"

I looked around and my eyes landed on Caitlin. "Cait truth or dare?" Truth

"Okay who is the most hottest opponent you have ever faced?" "Umm..maybe Christen Press." "Ohh Tobin gonna be mad!" "I don't like her like that it's just she's attractive, come on who else agrees?" Everybody nodded "Yeah she's hot!"

The team bonding ended with a lot of surprises coming from some of my teammates.

Back in my room I went straight to bed lay down and start scrolling through my social media. I chatted a little with Lindsey Horan and Emily sonnett. I decided to text Avery. We flirted a bit but she left me high and dry ( Well wet in my case) because she had school tomorrow, damn I already miss her. I turned off my phone and set my bed up for a good night sleep. "G'night Chloe." "Night Ellie!"

The next morning I turned around to turn off my alarm went to the bathroom to change into my warm up clothes then we head down for breaky. After breakfast we board the bus to the training field.

During training we did all the stuffs that is needed to be done, we were drained it was so tiring that id probably need an ice bath. After training we head back to the hotel to freshen up and were given time for nap till dinner. Chloe and I took a little nap alarmed our phone at 5pm for dinner then slept like a baby throughout.

When it's time for dinner we both cleaned up, I grab my phone then went down. We all sat around telling stories,making funny videos and just having fun.

I wonder how avery's day went. Did she had fun in school? Did she have any friends?

All these thoughts running through my head, wanting to know if she had a good or bad day today.

I'll just text her when I go back to the room don't want Caity or Sammy bugging me.

Dinner went by very fast because many of us is still sore from the rough training today, I think coach wants to kill us I don't blame him he wants us at our best and be ready for the friendlies so I think it will be worth it in the end. I changed into sweats and hoodie was about to lay down when Sammy asked with anyone wants to play sims. Umm...I could use some free time.

While playing with Sammy for some time Nikki FaceTime so I went back to my room and text Avery.
