Chapter 10

Avery's POV

After Casey dropped me off I went straight home and prepare just a simple dinner for us. After preparing dinner I kept his in the microwave and make my way upstairs to freshen up after brushing my teeth, I put up my hair in a messy bun went through my closet deciding what to wear I grab  my nike sports bra, my Calvin Klein boxers and lastly my grey sweat pants. I decided to finish my homework while waiting for dad to come home and also I can't get the event that happened today out of my head, when i got out my English essay I got a notification on my phone saying that I got a new message my heart picked up when I saw who texted but smiled otherwise.

Ellie❤: Hey baby girl how was your day ?

Smiling I replied "Hey love ! Today could been better. How was yours?"

Ellie❤: Oh what happened ? Are you okay?

I smiled at her concerns but I can't tell her about the bullying and the beating I got from home.

Ellie❤: And I'm okay baby girl 😉

Shaking my head "oh it's nothing just something to do with my bestfriend Casey !

"So I'm baby girl?"

Ellie❤: Well duh 🤷‍♀️ calling you by your name is lame even thou you have a very beautiful name !

So you call everyone baby girl because calling them by their name is lame? Well thank you you have a beautiful name too 😉

Ellie❤: I said YOUR name not everyone! Oh and to answer your previous question about my day, well it was tiring we had a very hard training today ! I swear I think coach wants to kill us 😑

"Hmmm..I better be the only one you call baby girl ! Aww well if you want I have magical hands I can give you a massage just give me a call if you want!"

Ellie❤: Ouuuuu well what you gonna do if I call other girls "baby girl" ? And yes please I'm really in need of a set of magical hands it's been long since I've got a good one !

I swear my mind just automatically went dirty thinking about her reply.

"Well I'm going to make sure they never see the light of the day ever again ! Well my hands is not only good for massages I can do many things with it you'll be very surprised to know."

Ellie❤: Damn feisty I like it! Oh baby girl don't say stuff like that then leave me hanging *pouts*

Okay I can't take it anymore I need to see her face so I decided to FaceTime her.

I press the video call button, after a few seconds she accepted the call and I saw her beautiful smile.

Ellie❤: "Well hello there baby girl," she smiled.

Hey love! She blushed immediately oh manh how I love the effect I have on her.

Ellie❤: so what made you call? Not that I mind but this is the first.

"Well I wanted to see your beautiful face and trust me it's definitely not the last time I'll be facetimimg you. If you don't mind of course."

Ellie❤: "flattery will get you nowhere with me,"she smirked.

"Wahahaha we'll see about that love!"

Suddenly I felt the need to use the loo, I stood up put my phone upstanding I told her that I'll be back.

"Hey I'll be back just need to use the bathroom for a sec."

After using the loo I washed my hands and head back inside my room.

Ellie❤: "HOT DAMN baby girl I didn't know you had abs and 8 packs to be exact ! "

"Wahahah don't worry love it's all yours!" I winked at her and gave her my sexy lip bite that works every time.

Ellie❤: "baby girl don't bite your lip please you I wouldn't be able to do anything if you do that."

She pouts. Damn she's cute!

"Okay sorry I chuckled I didn't mean to, i sleep in like this!"

Ellie then bit her lip and I swear I think I got hard just looking at her do that!

I hid my erection from her because I don't think I'm ready to let her know I don't want her to freak out and I'm scared to be rejected.

I don't know what type of relationship we have because  we flirt a lot and I feel comfortable talking to her like words just come out freely and I don't stutter around her and that's telling something because I don't stutter only to people I'm close with and trust. 

I was about to reply when I was interrupted...

Ellie❤: "Baby girl ? What happened to your sides? Why are there bruises?

Shit! I forgot about my bruises.

"Ohh yeah just soccer practise today was brutal I was playing keeper today and I landed on the ball many times that's why I have bruises on the side...gotta keep the ball out somehow !"

I can't believe I lied to her that easily but I can see that she doesn't believe me.

She gave me a look that I can't quite comprehend.

Ellie❤: " Okay be careful and you can tell me anything alright, we're friends !"

I flinched at the word "friends" but I mask it with a smile that I know it doesn't reach my eyes.

"Yeah don't worry love you'd be the first one to know if anything is wrong. And besides you can do the same you can tell me anything no secrets, yeah?"

She looked me in the eye for a few seconds before she gave me her beautiful smile.

Ellie❤: "no secrets!"

"I hate that I have school tomorrow I pout I want to keep talking to you!"

Ellie❤: "Hey I know how you feel trust me I feel the same way but we can talk again tomorrow I'm not going anywhere and besides you have soccer practice in the afternoon that is something to look forward to and before you know it we'll be talking again tomorrow!"

"Well soccer will be not the only thing I'll look forward to tomorrow!" I bit my lip knowing it will affect her.

I saw her gulp and I chuckled a bit.

Ellie❤: "baby girl," she said in a warning tone. "What did I say about buying you lip?"

"Sorry I can't help it you're cute!"

She checked her phone and sighs.

Ellie❤: "Okay baby girl it's 10 o'clock and you need you energy for tomorrow I'll let you go now we'll talk again tomorrow,okay?"

"Yeah I'll see you tomorrow thanks for the company I love it !"

I got off my phone and chuckled when I see my English essay in front of me incomplete. Well I guess I'm going to do it school.
