Reader pov

I lived in the palisman forest made by the bat queen, she cared for me like I was her own.
Then one day a human girl came for her owl palisman and saw me, the bat queen gave me to the human in hopes of better living.
I was now heading to her home ,with the human girl taking my hand.
We entered the house, which seemed sentient , then a witch entered the home, talking about how she was in an animal control truck.
Then she saw me.
"Hi" she said walking over to me
My ears flatten as I was in an abusive cave with siblings before te bat queen took me in.
"It's ok, I'm not gonna hurt you" the lady said, and then she started to scratch behind my ear, then she left the room, leaving me wanting more.
I followed her to a room , when i heard coughing and rushed in head butting the door to get in then she looked to me " are you ok?" I asked
" yeah, don't worry about it" she said
Walking over to me and picking me up and laying me down on her bed.
" aren't you so cute, you are so adorable " she said.
