serenity pov:

I walked through the halls of the house, finding my mother missing.
'Thats strange' I thought, walking closer to luz's room.
" alright, then we have not time to lose" saidluz looking determined.
" Hey luz whats going on?" I asked.
Luz looked at me with a grim expression.
" serenity, I'm sorry but eda ... she got taken by the emperor.
" WHAT!!!!"  I screeched .
How could this happen.
" don't worry, we are going to get her back!"
"Ok" i said.

Later...

We arrived at the emperor's castle, it looked terrifying dark and scary.

We broke in keeping hidden behind conveniently shaped plants and statues. Luz took down so many of the gaurds, i was so impressed.

We arrived at the room where my mom was.

-Creak!!!-
The door opens and my mom is chained up in her owl form.

"Mom!!" I yelled out, running up to her.. but.. she didn't recognize me.
She growled out.
Luz ran up to her.
"EDA! Wait!!"  Luz yelled running infront of me.
My mom saw us gaining control of her form.
"Serenity! Luz! Oh no! What are you both doing here?!" My mom yelled.
Her and luz continued to talk until she started to get raised up by the platform she was on " go home luz"
"Eda" luz cried out.
"Mom!!" I did the same
The door opend behind us again.
Aunt lillith came out.

" you! You hurt eda!!" Luz yelled .
I knelt on the floor where my mother once was, tears spilled out of my eyes.
I broke.
I felt nothing .
I saw nothing.
But i heard everything...
All of the sorrow and betrayal that had begun was building up in my emotions .

I went after the emperor.
But i was stopped.
Luz grabbed my arm.
" calm down serenity, we have this under control. "

More time later...
We did it! We got my mom out of that cold place.

But she had some side effects.
Her eye was now gray, but so was lillith's.
