Y/N POV

"Who's all going?"

"Uhh me, you, Zoe, Billie, Brandon-"

You let out a loud groan of annoyance at the mention of Billie's current fling. Ever since they had started dating, Brandon had suddenly become apart of your friend group, Bil clinging to him wherever she went. You couldn't really blame him for being interested though, considering you had been the one dating her before he came along. She was intoxicating to say the least.

"Come on, y/n, we can still have a good time." Drew interrupted your thoughts. "I don't know why you're still so hung up on it. They've been a thing for like, three months."

You rolled your eyes. "That doesn't make him any less annoying."

"So you're not gonna come or what?"

You stayed silent for a moment, drumming your fingers on your leg as you sat with the phone pressed to your ear.

"Fine, I'll come." You eventually sighed. It wasn't like you had anything better to do on a Friday night. "Where are we going exactly?"

"Just to the club. I'll get wasted with you and you can forget all about Bil and Que, okay? You just need to loosen up a little."

"Okay." You gave in. As long as you were drunk and had people to hang out with, how bad could it be?

"Yeah, I can't do this." You whispered as you stood shivering in your tiny black dress, glaring at the back of Billie's head. She looked fucking amazing, of course, dressed head to toe in Gucci and diamonds, her dark blue hair cascading down her shoulders. The only problem was that she was already clinging to her so-called lover, practically relying on him to hold her upright.

"Yes, you can." Drew whispered back, slightly annoyed.

Zoe simply patted your shoulder and offered you a look of sympathy. You knew Billie hadn't been paying as much attention to her either lately, which made you feel bad since they had been best friends practically since birth.

You had only know Billie for a few years and dated her for ten months.

You were obviously still around each other a lot, but it wasn't the same as before. As much as you hated to admit it, you really missed her, even if her ego was more than you could handle at times.

The five of you reached the entrance and were allowed in due to Brandon's 'connections' even though you were all underage. At least he was good for something.

The intense lighting and loud music enveloped you as soon as you walked in, helping you to relax a bit. You wasted no time pulling Drew and Zoe over to the bar with you.

Much to your delight, a few shots later you were feeling noticeably less tense, warm even.

"Let's dance!" Zoe shouted over the music, looking at you both excitedly.

You nodded and giggled, following them over.

Billie's POV

I watched with my chin resting in my hand as my friends laughed and tripped over each other out on the dancefloor.

Well, my eyes were on y/n in particular.

She was undoubtedly the most attractive person in the place, wearing a little black dress that I'd never seen her in before.

I felt the all too familiar pang in my chest at the fact that she wasn't my girl anymore. I'd been the one to end things, all because I was afraid of how much I loved her. So I'd left her before she could leave me.
