"Yo."

Billie turned her head over on the pillow to look at you, a mischievous grin on her face.

"We should get matching tattoos."

You raised your brow and gave her a look.

"What?" She pouted in her baby voice before going back to scrolling through her phone. "It's a fucking great idea."

"Don't you know you're not supposed to get matching tattoos with your significant other? It's bad luck. Just look at like, every celebrity."

"Ohh, so this is because I'm a celebrity?" She paused before another smile returned to her face. "Or because you think we're going to break up?"

You gave her another all-knowing look and she put her hands up in defense.

"I'm joking, chill."

You sighed and moved over so you could lay your head on her chest, feeling it raise up and down slightly over her steady heartbeat.

She began gently playing with your hair out of habit.

"So... is that a yes?"

You looked up and met her irresistible gaze before laying your head back down again, absentmindedly tugging at a loose string on her sweater.

"I dunno, Billie, what would we even get?"

She was silent for a few moments, thinking.

"Oo, I know!"

You waited for her to tell you her great idea.

"Wait, no, that's stupid."

You rolled your eyes through a grin and continued playing with her shirt as you sat in silence.

A few moments later she perked up again and cautiously moved you off her lap.

"Hold up, I'll be right back."

You whined a little in protest as she got up, watching as she walked over to the notebook in her closet and plucked a pen out of it's spiral edge.

She undid the cap with her teeth as she approached you again. "Take off your shirt."

You opened your mouth to protest but she cut you off.

"Bro, just trust me."

You groaned and took off the large tshirt who were wearing, which happened to Billie's of course.

"Now lay on your stomach."

You obeyed and layed your bare chest down on the cool blankets, folding your arms and resting your cheek on the back of your hand.

Billie's weight sunk into the bed as she crawled up and put a knee on either side of you, hovering over your back.

"What exactly-"

"Shh, don't trip."

You let out a huff of breath, blowing a stray hair up out of your face.

Just then you felt the pen meet the skin right below your left shoulder, causing you to squirm and giggle at the sensation. That wasn't usually the sound that came out of you when you were facedown and shirtless in Billie's bed, but that was a story for another day.

"Dude, can you chill?" Billie questioned, holding back a giggle of her own.

"No."

Less than a minute later her weight shifted again as she stood up. "All done."
