Two days until time starts

Luke P.O.V. 

I groan, hitting my alarm clock, walking to the bathroom, when Cara cut me off. "You're slow. Better luck next time" She lock the door. I bang on the door, groaning. I hate you! "No you don't!!" I waited until Cara was out of the bathroom, which was too long. I ran to the bathroom after her bedroom door close. I got to shower, put on my clothes, running downstairs. I kiss my mum on the cheek grabbing some toast with vegemite on it. "Wait a minute young man." What? "Take your sister to school." Her friend Emma is. "Cara just said she wasn't but will drop off home after school." 

Fine mum I will! She looked at me before I said. I would love to mum. I smile as she kiss my cheek, squeezing my cheeks. Mum... 

I got into my car as Cara knock on the window. "Let me in!" Nope! I started the car. "I will tell mum! Unlock the car now Luke! I'm serious!" I looks at her, rolling my eyes. She smirks, grabbing her phone out. "I'm calling your friends then. I think Ashton would come and pick me up." Ugh, fine. I unlock the car and she got in. We were at school in 10 minutes. We both walked in then went our own ways. 

Calum locker and my are right beside each others. I grab some books when Calum, looked over at me. What? "Nothing." Okay? I roll my eyes. "There is something." What is it? He handed me a paper with the words "Goodbye Luke" Who gave you this? "No one did. It was in my locker." I gonna go Calum. I'll talk to you later. I ran to the guy bathroom and close the door. A tear roll down my face, I wiped it away, looking at the paper. 

I heard foot steps. I bit my lip, locking the door then I knock on the door. "It's me Michael. Luke I saw you come in here 5 minutes ago." I unlock it, pushing the door in, looking down. "What's wrong mate?" It's nothing. "It's something." He grab the paper. Damnit Michael! "Luke who the hell wrote this? We have to tell someone?!" No it's fine. We don't! Just please stop. Michael nodded. "Hey we are going to be late for class and we will get detention again." I'm coming. You go ahead. He walk out. 

The bell rang last time, I walk in math class, sitting in the back. I felt a paper hit my leg, I grab it, biting my lip. I open it to find Calum draw a picture of a pig. I roll my eyes putting it in my notebook. What a nerd. 

School was over after a long day of test and solving problems. I saw my sister with her friends talking. I bump into someone about to say sorry when Ashton laughed. "You shouldn't stare at someone, Luke." I wasn't staring. "yeah you were." Just shut up Ashton. I shoved paper in my backpack, looking up at to see Emma. Emma didn't mean to say that, Ashton was here and I was talking to him. She giggle. "It's cool. I wanted to ask if it's okay that Cara and I go to the mall then i will drop her off?" I'll tell my mum that, if that's what you are asking? Questioning my answer. "Yes" I will. "thanks Luke. You'll the best." She gave me a quick hug before going back over to my sister. 

"You like her Luke" Shut up Calum. I don't like her. She's my sister best friend. 

Emma P.O.V. 

"Did you really have to ask my brother?" You know I had to. I drove over to the mall, parking the car. Come on girl! We laughed, walking inside, going to different places. We sat down, giggling, eating food. can I tell you something? "No, you can't date my brother." I laugh. No, no not that and why not? Don't answer that one. You know when Luke window broke and you went to your room. Cara nodded looking at me confused. "And?" A rock was thrown and there was a paper on it hanging on by a rubber brand. Anyway,  the paper said "time starts soon?" I didn't know if you heard about anything like that or something? 

Cara stopped what she was doing and stared at me. "You know about the time starts soon?" All i know is the paper that was thrown in Luke's room that night. "Don't tell Luke, but Ashton and i have been-" I cut her off. Making out? She roll her eyes. "No. We have been trying to slove this game or whatever it is before this time starts." Do you know when it starts? She shurgged. "Have no clue." 

Cara invite me to spend the night. We walk into her house and Cara mum Liz smile. "Hi girls. Sorry if it's loud. I'm letting the boys practice downstairs." That's alright Ms. Hemmings. "You better call me Liz, Emma." I giggle as Cara roll her eyes, taking my hand going upstairs to her room. 

I came downstairs around 9:00 p.m., I'm grabbing some snacks and drinks for Cara and I. I turn the light on to find Luke standing over the sink. You okay? He look away from me. "Why you here still?' My mum said i could spend the night and your mum said it was okay to. So no need to drive your sister to school and back here tomorrow. 

You sure, you're okay? "I'm fine Emma, please just leave me alone!" He yelled at me, I nodded. I'm just going to grab a couple water bottles and chips. "Can you grab them later?" He turn to face me, I put my hand on his cheek softly, looking up at him. I can, but I'm already down here, so. I let my hand go but Luke stop me, leaving it on his cheek. He move my hand to his lips, he kiss each of my fingers before moving closer. The light turn off then back on, we look over to see Cara pissed. "Really Luke?! I can't date your friends. You can't date mine!" She pull my hand away from Luke. "Let's go Emma! We have to wash your hand now!" Cara pull me out of the kitchen, i look back at Luke then follower her. 

"Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew! Luke? Really my brother?!!" I lay on her bed. Nothing happened Cara. "Really? Tell that too your hand!" Is it bad that i ask if your brother was okay or not? "It's not, until you and him were going kiss or something" She made fake vomit noises. Let's just sleep and forget about it please. "whatever"
