Nyx's Starlight

Back Home and Work

They got off the boat and started walking home. Once they were outside Nyx's door, she paused and took a step back. Her head was killing her; it had come out of no were. She felt someone grab her hand and pull her forward. She closed her eyes as the pain was getting worse.

Nyx felt her take a step back, making him turn to her. She was holding her head like it was in so much pain. He pulled her forward and into there place. "Starlight?" she had her eyes closed. He pulled her into his arms. "Nyx, I need to sit down." He walked with her over to the edge of the bed and sat her down. "Just give me a moment. It will pass soon."

Raya opened her eyes once more as the pain faded. "Sorry, it's fading now." All of a sudden, his door was thrown open, and someone had pulled her into a hug. " We missed you, Raya. Welcome home." She smiled. "I missed you as well, Crowe." Libertus placed a hand on her head. "Welcome back, little one." She looked at Nyx. "It's good to be home. Where I was meant to be."

Raya just walked out of Drautos's office. Her friends were waiting for her outside. "So, what happened?" She laughed, looking at Crowe. "I'm back starting now."Crowe hugged her. "Luche is going to flip. It's going to be great to see his face." Even Raya had to laugh at that.

"What the hell are you doing back here? You quit." Luche said as soon as he saw her. "Aww, are you still mad because you can't beat me. You poor baby. Go whine to someone who gives a shit." Luche got in her face, and she stood her ground." you're the one who walked away because you got your feelings hurt. You abandoned your husband."

Raya smiled as she summoned to a black sword. "You sure you wanna pick a fight with death, Luche?" He summoned his weapons as well. They two went at it.

Nyx and their friends walked into the training room. too see Luche attacking Raya. "That didn't take long." Crowe laughed. "Yeah, but she's changed. Look at her she's toying with him. She's not trying at all." They watched. When Trend joined in to help Luche. Nyx just watched. She needed to prove her place once more.

Raya dogged both men so quickly until a three came and blasted her into a pillar as they arrived at her a blue mist formed and there stood Smoke

The tiger stood in front of her teeth, showing a low growl coming from him. Raya stood up and placed a hand on her friend. "Shall we, my friend?" She turned to the three men and warped.

Nyx had a massive grin on his face as he watched her and smoke in perfect sync. "Damn where ever she got that tiger, those two are deadly for real," Crowe said in aww.

Raya had them beat when they dropped their weapons. "You're done already? I didn't even break a sweat. You have gotten soft without me here to kick your ass." Smoke stayed next to her. Raya walked away and went to where her friends stood. She kept her hand rested on smoke's back as she walked.

"Raya Nyx, my office. Why the hell is the tiger in my training room?" Drautos was looking at Smoke. "She's with me captain don't worry, she won't bite unless you attack me," she said that last part while looking at Luche. "Fine, just get in here."

Twenty minutes later had them walking out of his office. "Say hello to the new and permanent member of our little unit," Nyx tells them. Crowe hugs her. "Let's go get drinks at that new bar we can sing and be bad at it together.. Please, Raya?"

Raya was getting ready when Nyx came into the apartment. "Babe, you still here?" she smiled. "Nope, I ran away again." He went into the bathroom doorway. "That's not funny, woman. Damn, I can never get over how you hot you are."

Raya laughed. "Thank goodness I talked Crowe into going to our normal place." Raya was trying to ignore the ringing in her ears as it was getting louder. Nyx noticed her put her hands over her ears. "Babe?" he pulled her into his arms. After a few minutes, it faded. "Sorry." He kissed her. "No need to be sorry."

When they finally got there, Crowe ran to Raya, pulling her away from Nyx. She sat down with Crowe, who started handing her drinks halfway through the night. Raya felt the pain in her head coming back. Whenever someone touched her, it got worse.

Nyx noticed her stand up and trying to get away from people. He tried to get to her, but she warped away. Nyx ran outside and found her trying to walk away. "Starlight, come here." He reached her, but she was not hearing him; the pain was too bad. Nyx grabbed her, pulling her to him.

He lifted her chin to look at her face. "Baby, can you hear me?" she had blood coming from her ears and mouth. She looked terrified. "Okay, let's get you home." Picking her up, he walked the two blocks back to there place. She had her head down against his chest.

Raya felt the movement, but she couldn't respond. Nyx had said something to her, but she couldn't hear him. She was so tired, so she closed her eyes.

Nyx walked in there place when he saw Smoke walk over to them. He played her down as the tiger played on one side of her. He got on her other hand. Raya screamed as pain tore threw her. "My starlight, what happened to you?"

When she woke up, she was curled up in Nyx's arms. "You better babe?" she nods. "Nyx, what is happening to me? Have the six forsaken me?" he didn't know what to say to her, so he just held her.
