The Karasuno Volleyball team sighed in content as they entered a Ramen place. They took a mental note to thank their teacher, Takeda, again since this particular Ramen shop sure looked nice and smelled like they really are good with making ramen.
"Two orders of Special Ramen, boss!" A waitress lively yelled. "Comin' right up!" The boss yelled back.
They all settled in four tables that contained four seats. Of course, Tanaka fought just have a seat in the same table as their manager, Shimizu, but was interrupted by a brunette waitress.
"Are you all together?" She asked just for confirmation even though it was obvious. Ukai nodded at the waitress and she smiled, "Great! Well, we have a booth that's used for big parties just as yours. We can move a few tables and chairs here and there to have you all fit in one. Follow me!" She grinned at them and encouraged them to follow her.
Once they were told to wait, the waitress called in some of her colleagues to help her arrange the seats and tables for them and it was done. They all plopped themselves on their respective seats while Tanaka did the same as earlier.
"Mirai-chan, you should've told me to help you! You're going to hurt your arm more!" A seemingly disappointed voice complained. The brunette beside their table stiffed up and sweat dropped then left, telling the group she'll be back.
"Honey, keep your voice down! It'll disturb the customers." The woman handling the cash register said.
The girl that walked out of the kitchen released a stubborn huff and answered back with a laugh, "But we're always yelling the orders, what's the difference?!"
The woman laughed and as well as the other workers heck, even the customers. The said girl came up to the brunette standing near the counter tables, "I'll handle your shift, Mirai-chan! You should head back home and take care of your mom." Before Mirai, the brunette waitress, could say no, the girl added, "I've already talked to my parents about it. Get out of here and take care of your mom!" She flashed a smile with a wink and got engulfed by Mirai with a hug.
While the whole scene was going on, the volleyball team have been chatting to each other about anything in particular but mostly about volleyball.
"Excuse me," A girl's voice interrupted them. "May I take your orders?" She flashed a closed eyes smile at them and opened up her note pad, ready to write their orders.
"Y/N-san!" Nishinoya greeted the waitress wearing a yellow bandana and yellow apron in front of their table, her hair tied back away from her face. The girl widened her eyes slightly and gained a pink blush but smiled back at him with her hand that held her pen raised slighly as a greeting, "Yo, Nishinoya-kun! How're you?"
Nishinoya's teammates got surprised on how he knew the girl but it looks like Takeda was surprised as well.
"What are you doing here?" He beamed at her and high fived her raised palm. "I help out my parents." She answered.
"Y/N-chan, but I thought your mom told you not to help anymore?" Takeda wondered at the girl, getting confused looks from the others.
"It's been years ever since they told me not to but I can't help it, Ittetsu-san." She smiled sheepishly at the teacher and he sighed at her, giving in that he knew he couldn't do anything about the stubborn girl.
Y/N took all their orders and left off to the kitchen.
"You know her, Nishinoya-kun?" Takeda asked the hyperactive boy and he nodded, telling him how he met the girl. The others in surprise even when Nishinoya told them but of course, Tsukishima didn't even mind them.
