"Shouldn't you be with Nishi-chan?" Oikawa quirked an eyebrow upon seeing his cousin, you, early morning at the living room instead of resting until the time you should be meeting with your boyfriend.
"I will be—but that's for later. Auntie asked me if I could watch over you today." You answered before drinking down medicines. "Besides, I've drank these so I'm good to go!"
"I kind of regret telling mom about today's practice and for letting you stay for the night." Oikawa sighed as he sat beside you, completely the start of his morning whines. "Also, I'm not even a kid anymore—Who am I kidding—I'm a year older than you! I should be the one taking care of you not the other way around and, not to mention, I—" His words were interrupted as you jabbed his bad knee, applause to you for shutting him up.
"You should say all that when you finally get back on treating your knee—not just with medicine and hospital treatments—but also by taking care of it and not being reckless with it." You answered with an annoyed look you threw at him for being careless.
By the time he childishly crossed his arms over his chest with an accompanied with his signature 'hmph!' the doorbell rang and knowing it was Iwaizumi, you guys got up and left—not before you and Oikawa got your daily dose of making fun of Iwaizumi. The two of you received glares from your dark-haired friend while the both of you were snickering without a care.
"The two of you are idiots." Iwaizumi muttered, obviously irritated.

"Shouldn't you be with Nishi-chan by now?!" Oikawa practically exclaimed as he saw you still sitting on the bench while helping their new manager with some things.
"Yuu told me that they're practicing until later this evening; I'm actually about to leave though. Also," You answered while watching Haru's hand jotting down notes. "Shouldn't you be on a break right now? Why not use it to hydrate yourself rather than scolding me?"
He scoffed and you scoffed back. Until Iwaizumi threw your cousin's water bottle at the designated owner, making you snort in your laughter.
"Haru-san, I'm being bullied by my best friend and my cousin!!" The tall brunette whined to the female manager who seemed to be a bit flustered upon having your cousin hide behind her in such a close distance; his hands on the side of her shoulders while his chin rested on one of her shoulders, a pout evident on his features.
You smirked at the sight and got Hanamaki and Matsukawa in your boat as the three of you switched knowing glances towards the manager and the captain.
"Hm, what's this?" Matsukawa started.
"Oh, I don't know, Mattsun, but I think our Captain's getting a little bit touchy with our manager. What do you have to say to this, Y/N-chan?" Hanamaki followed, stretching his hand towards you like an invisible microphone.
You took the invisible mic before speaking. "I don't think I'm the right person to be asked!" You gasped exaggeratedly and turned to the flustered manager, stretching your hand towards her as if you held an invisible mic. "What do you have to say to this, Haru-chan?"
"I-I, well," The three of you mentally high-fived each other upon making the girl ruin her usual quiet and serious demeanour upon being 'interviewed'. Even Iwaizumi laughed beside the three of you when Oikawa glared at the four of you as he protectively hugged the now shy manager, trying to get her out of your sights.
After a few more minutes until another game started, a player from the opposing team joined your circle as the setter of Aoba Johsai while Oikawa was over to the other team as their setter for this game.
