Two males sat on a hill, overlooking the ocean. The moon cast a soft glow on the water, illuminating everything and making the crystal blue sea sparkle. The stars shone high above, each one twinkling brightly in the dark.
"I found Orion," one spoke, pointing to a group of stars. He was the taller of the two, his head resting on the shorter one's shoulder. He had slightly curly dark brown hair with a hint of red in it. The shorter one had hair as black as the sky they were currently staring up into. He spoke up,
"There's the...Little Dipper? At least, I think it's the Little." The taller one laughed at his hyung's confusion.
"Focus on the handle Yoongi hyung, you can tell by the shape. Ursa Major has a more jagged looking one and Ursa Minor's is more curved." Yoongi shrugged.
"Mehh, two lazy to care all that much." It was true. Yoongi had studied the stars in this sky with these stars millions of times, and would continue to. Hoseok howver loved to stare up at the sky, so who was Yoongi to object? That was exactly what they were doing- Yoongi had taken him to his favorite spot for star gazing, their hands intertwined on the grass and the free ones pointing at constellations. Yoongi suddenly perked up and he turned around at hearing a noise. Upon seeing it was only a squirrel he turned back around, slouching back down, returning to a calmer state.
If anything was true that night, it's that nature was alive. Lots of little things were making sounds and running around, and Yoongi was alert to each little thing going on in the world around them. His senses were peak, his eyesight a little sharper. The night definitely looked beautiful through his eyes. It was about two in the morning or something similar. Yoongi didn't mind though, time wasn't important right then. The only thing that mattered were the stars.
"Right?" Hoseok asked, making Yoongi realize he had zoned out.
"S-sorry, I zoned out, what did you say?"
"I asked if you think the sky looks pretty tonight," Hoseok aksed.
"The sky looks amazing," Yoongi, replied. He turned and looked at the younger as he stared at the sky, taking in all the vivid details about him. "So is the view," he then said.
"Yeah, the ocean sure is pretty from here." Hoseok said. Yoongi blushed and quickly turned his head so that's what was in his line of sight when the younger turned to look at him, placing his head back on Yoongi's shoulder. Yoongi smiled, and layed his on top of it.
"Hobi ah...." Yoongi started, his voice trailing off. Hoseok looked up, his shining eyes full of innocent curiosity, the reflection of Yoongi being lit up by the moon in them.
"What's up Yoongi hyung?" Hoseok felt as Yoongi's grip tightened on his hand, the shorter's palm sweating.
"I, uh... I should tell you something." Yoongi gulped nervously. Now was a better time than ever to spill what he had to say, what he had kept hidden. "Just, you have to promise me something first," he added at the end
"Yoongi hyung, what's do you mean?" Hoseok questioned.
"I'm going to tell you something, but promise you won't see me different, ok?" Hoseok nodded in response and Yoongi slid his hand out from the younger's grasp.
"I promise Yoongi hyung," he said.
"Hoseok, I'm not exactly, well, normal. Actually, I'm pretty far from normal. I'm half normal- err, half human." Hoseok looked at him confused. Yoongi put his head in his hands. "Ugh, this already sounds made up, you probably aren't going to believe me at all--" he was cut off by Hoseok.
