"Are you crazy!" Effie yells at me because I shot an arrow near the gamemakers. Haymitch comes into the room. I was thinking that he would feel the same way that Effie does, but instead he gives me a thumbs up. Peeta is just sitting on the couch. The tv turns on and I see the tv host Caesar Flickerman announcing the training scores. I'm the very last person. "Katnisss Everdeen with a," he pauses for a few seconds. "11". I was shocked. The next night were the interviews. Peeta was last. Caesar asks me about the chariot parade when I sit down on stage. I was so nervous that when he asked me, I couldn't hear him. At the end of my interview I spun around in circles because my dress had flames in it. The next day I woke up and went straight to Cinna. I put on a jacket and boots. The voice over the speaker said that I had 60 seconds to get on my plate that would rise into the arena. I was so scared. "I'm not allowed to bet, but if I could, I would bet on you." Cinna said to calm me. 1 minute and 25 seconds until The Hunger Games would start. I step on my plate. It begins to rise.
