Allesandro's pov:
The night, my mom told me that Aria accepted to marry me i was really happy.
For some weird ass reason, i couldn't get her off my mind.
The morning i decided to go earlier than usual at the office and send her her favorite flowers and a card.
I wrote my phone number on it so that she can text me.
I was going through some files when a message came in.
I checked my phone and saw it was from an unknown number.
I smiled knowing that it might be from Aria.
She thanked me for the flowers.
Taking my chance, i asked her for lunch and she accepted.
I told her to meet me at 13 00 in the parking lot.
I smiled to myself and continued my work.
Out of no where the door of my office opened and Anna came in.
This woman really need to learn some manners.
"Sandro..." she called me by my nickname that my family has been calling me.
"Anna haven't you learned how to knock." I said in a happier tone than usual.
She gasped and placed the back of her hand on my forehead. I narrowed my eyes at her while lifting an eyebrow.
"What is your problem Anna?" I said in a bored tone. This woman has a PhD in annoying me.
"What happened to you no yelling, no barking out orders instead you were smiling like a stupid fool." She added.
"Shut up woman!" I said at her but not in my usual cold tone i use while i am in the office.
"Is it the effect of Aria?" She added teasingly.
I smiled and continued on with my work.
"How rude of you sandy bear... you should be thanking me instead of ignoring me." She said dramatically.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and asked her why.
"Who do you think convince the girl of your dreams to marry you.huh?" She asked while wriggling her eyebrows.
She answered her own question by pointing her thumbs towards her.
I rolled my eyes at her and continued what i was doing.
"Sandy bear... talk to me." She whined.
"Don't call me that!" I snapped at her.
"Don't call you what sandy bear?" She asked innocently.
I sighed knowing she would not stop and went through another file.
"Sandy bear? At least did you ask her for lunch?" She asked.
"Already did that." I said that not paying much attention to her.
"Ohhhh! reaaallyy?" She said as if she is impressed by what i did.
"Anna i don't pay you to do absolutely nothing so if you are done please summarise all of these files for me, thank you." I said with sarcasm.
She pouted but took the files and made herself comfortable on the couch in my office and did her work.
"Anna you have an office for a reason." I said, Indirectly telling her to leave.
"I don't mind being here."she smiled sweetly at me. Bloody witch.
I kept glancing at the time but it seems that time is moving slower than usual.
Finally, when the clock strike 12 45 I headed down to the parking.
After waiting for a while, she came.
I decided to take her to kfc I really wanted to know if she is the steak and wine type or fast food type.
And by her reaction the answer was clear as water.
I realised that she finds hapiness in small things of life rather than extravagant lifesyle.
Arriving at the office I placed my hand on the small of her back and an electryfying current rushed through my veins.
Entering the front lobby of the office everyone's eyes were on us. I had my cold expression on but on the other side i could feel she was extremely nervous.
I told her to ignore them and she did.
Once we got into the elevator i felt guilty, guilty because this is only the begining there would be much more for her to face.
I felt the need of saying sorry to her.
But what shocked me is that instead of getting more nervous by what i just told her about what she might face in the future, she hugged me.
My body tensed as it was an unexpected movement but then i relaxed and circled my arms around her.
I took a breath. I could smell her sweet vanilla smell. I remember a day before our date she bumped into me and i got mesmerised by her intoxicating scent.
She confessed about how she feels about this relationship and asked me to always be by her side.
I couldn't promise her about a perfect relationship because i know it is not possible but i promised to never give up on her.
She went back to work and i went to my office.
I sat down on my chair and tried to continue with my work but the thoughts of her couldn't leave my mind making me unable to concentrate.
I kept thinking about life, my past, my present, my future... with her.
I didn't realise how many hours past by keeping thinking about Aria.
I came to the conclusion that getting married to her would be such a blessing. I mean why wouldn't it be? She is loving, kind, genuine, hardworking, selfless, caring.
I should really thank my parents that they chose her for me.
Looking at the time i saw it was 22 47 and i was still in the office.
I decided to text her goodnight and tell her that i miss her. After waiting for a while she did not replied, she might be asleep.
I went to my penthouse and saw that there's note on the fridge from Marissa, she was my nanny when i was a child and now every 3 days she comes to clean my penthouse. And she usually prepares dinner as well.
I had my dinner and went to sleep.
In the middle of the night my phone rang. Anna's name popped on the screen.
I groaned wondering what does she want at this time of the night.
"What the fuck happened woman?" I asked her in a sleepy voice.
"Sandro, there's an emergency in los angeles and we need to be there as soon as possible." She said in a groggy voice.
I tsked and told her to make sure that the jet is ready and that i'll pick her up on my way to the airport.
I changed from my sweatpants to a button up shirt and jeans.
Because of situations like this i always have a bag already packed.
I went to pick Anna and went to the airport. Before the plane took off i texted Aria to tell her about the trip and that i'll miss her as well as that i will be back by next week.
I sighed leaning back on my seat hoping that the people in the office won't create any nuisance for her.
Which I highly doubt.
