Aria's pov:
My eyes fluttered open when i felt someone shaking me.
"Huh?" I said sleepily and rubbed my eyes.
"Mommy." Allesandra called.
"What happened baby?" I asked.
"Mommy, why we here?" She asked.
I looked around and saw that we were in my old apartment.
Memories of last night flooded my mind and i let out a sob.
"Mommy, no cry. Sandra sad!" She said and placed her head on my thigh.
I wiped my tears and placed her on my lap.
"Mommy is not sad anymore, see she is smiling." I said and forced a smile.
"Let's go, brush our teeth." I said and went to the bathroom.
While i placed her on the step stool she asked me,
"Mommy where dada?"
Tears filled my eyes inatantly.
"Um- he-he is working baby. That is why we are going to stay here for a few days." I said.
"Kay, mommy." She said and took her brush.
After brushing our teeth, we changed our clothes before heading out.
I brought her to a starbucks and ordered a double espresso shot for myself to get rid of my headache and a hot chocolate with a ham and cheese croissant for Allesandra as i was not hungry.
At last, Allesandra ended up eating half of the croissant and gave me the other half.
As i hate wasting food, i ate the croissant.
I took Allesandra to the park and soon she mingled with other kids and played with them.
I sat on the bench and watched her.
She seemed so happy.
This happiness won't last long.
This child will have to live a life without the shadow of her father.
She was drained of energy after a few hours.
We had lunch and now we were heading back to my apartment.
She insisted me to pick her up and within seconds she fell asleep.
I smiled and walked to my house.
When i arrived in front of my building i saw a too familiar car.
A grey lamboghini was parked in front of the building.
I sighed.
We do need to talk, for one last time.
I went to my apartment and saw Allesandro pacing around.
As soon as he eyes landed on me he approched me.
I put my hand in front to stop him from coming any closer.
I opened the door and got in.
He followed me behind and closed the door.
I went in the room and placed Allesandra on the bed before removing her coat and shoes and tucking her in.
I removed my own shoes and coat before going back to the living room.
Allesandro was sitting on the couch and he was fidgeting with his wedding ring nervously.
Why does he still wear it? I thought bitterly.
I cleared my throat to gain his attention.
"Aria-um-err." I sat across him.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I-i err." He blew out his cheeks.
"Aria,"
"What?" I asked coldly.
Tears started filling my eyes once again.
"How could you do this to me Allesandro? You know how much you mean to me. Why?" I sobbed.
I hid my face in my palm and cried.
I felt him rubbing my knee.
I looked up and he was kneeling in front of me. His eyes holding a storm of emotion.
"Don't touch me." I removed his hand from my knee and went to the kitchen.
I gripped the counter because i felt as if my knees would give up on me.
I felt him wrapping his hand around me. I turned around and his eyes were filled with tears.
I placed my hand on his chest and pushed him. But he did not even budge and his hold on my waist tightened.
"Leave me, Allesandro!" I said and tried to wriggle out of his grip.
"I love you Aria." He said and placed a kiss on my head.
"Stop lying Allesandro, don't play with my heart like this."
He gripped my forearm and pinned me to the counter.
"Yes, i lied to you." He said.
I looked at him and tears were falling from his eyes.
I have seen this man shed tears only twice in my life. And those were tears of happiness. First when we got married and second when Allesandra was born.
This time he was in pain.
"I lied to you."
"You don't love me anymore." I broke into tears.
"I loved you Aria, i still love you and always will love you." He placed his forehead against mine.
"You don't." I said lowly.
"I do!" He said in a vunerable voice.
"Why did you cheat on me then." I cried.
He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.
"I would never cheat on you Aria, never. I rather die than cheat." He said and his eyes told me that he was honest.
But... yesterday.
"Then why-why?" I pulled my hair in annoyance. All of this is getting to my head and increasing my headache.
He made me sit down on the couch and went to fetch a glass of water.
"Here, have this." He gave me the glass of water.
I gulped down the water and the coldness of it gave immediate relif to my dry throat.
He sat beside me and i asked him, "Do you love her?"
"I don't love anyone else but you." The said.
"Whatever i said yesterday was a lie. I did not find anyone else. I still love ypu and will always do." He promised.
"But why?" I asked in confusion.
"Why would you do that?"
"I have my reasons love and i will tell you later. For now sleep. You need to rest it seems that you will pass out any minute now." He said and i started feeling my eyes getting heavy.
He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and i felt myself drifting off to a deep slumber.
I had many questions to be answered many confusion but getting exhausted from the past 24 hours, i let myself rest.
But before i fell asleep completely i heard him saying "you are my world Aria and i won't let you away from me ever again."
