Before she knew it, it was already Valentine's day. The atmosphere in the hospital was exuding cheerfulness amidst all the hidden chaos.
"Happy Valentine's day Yuni!" Mae said as she hugged her best friend.
Yuni playfully shoved her, "Ready for another year of singleness?"
A smug face was plastered on the nurse's face. "Me? Haha, I got a date with a special someone."
She couldn't help but gasp aloud, this really was news to her. "I feel betrayed! Now I'm stuck being single." Mae felt bad, their valentine day tradition would be disrupted.
"How about we have a double date? You, me, Mingyu and S.coups?"
S.coups as in the doctor? That is a direct insult to me and Mae. "Mae, you know he has a reputation right? He practically dated all the female nurses in this hospital."
"Of course I know but what's there to lose? I just wanna try new things out." Yuni thought Mae was thinking irrationally again,
"Uhh I can think of plenty, your heart, your money, don't make me name all of them." She felt arms wrap around her in a reassuring attempt to stop her from overthinking.
"Don't worry about me, focus on making moves on Mingyu. Apparently he has his eyes out for someone..."
Butterflies rushed to her stomach at the mention of his name.
"Don't get my hopes up Mae.."
"So, are you coming or not?"
Slowly she nodded her head.
"Yay! I'll tell the two. Reservation is at Seoul tower for 7 pm."
After the shenanigans in the nurse's station, Yuni decided to check up on her patients, including Soonyoung.
Knocking before entering, Yuni called out, "Soonyoung it's me, I'm coming in to check up on you."
To her surprise the bed was empty.
Yuni darted out of the room, only to find Soonyoung in the lounge playing cards with another patient.

"Gosh, you scared me."
The two looked up from their game, Soonyoung was amused, "Happy Valentine's day to you too."
She rolled her eyes, hiding the happiness to see that Soonyoung was able to get out of bed and was able to interact with new people.
"I see you have made a friend, I'm Dr.Chang Yuni."
The guy sitting beside him greeted her with a smile, "Nice to meet you, doctor, I'm Wonu."
