They were back at square one again. Soonyoung had been admitted to the ICU, surviving on only machines.
"You will be able to see your fiance as soon as he's stable." the nurse stated. Yuni had been in the waiting room for more than a day.
Luckily Mae and Wonwoo came by with food so that Yuni wouldn't starve to death. She took a bite out of the sandwich they had brought, "Thank you guys, I really appreciate it."
"Hoshi would want you to eat well." She felt a tear stream down her cheek after the mention of his name.
"Ms.Chang, your fiance is stable. Would you like to talk to him?"
Eagerly she nodded her head, "Yes please." The nurse led her into a spacious room with only one bed in it...Soonyoung's bed.
"He might not be able to speak to you right now but I'm sure he is listening. I'll leave you guys alone now." Once the nurse left, Yuni practically threw herself onto Soonyoung.
"Please Hoshi, come back to me..." She held his hand and swiped the strands of hair away from his face. Yuni couldn't keep it in anymore, crying until her breath hitched. A squeeze on her hand snapped her back to reality, Soonyoung had squeezed her hand! Slowly, he started to stir awake until finally, his eyes squinted open.
"Ugh, my head...Yuni?" She smiled through the tears, wrapping her arms around him.

"You're in the hospital after you were unresponsive." He smiled, "So you're saying, I won the challenge?" Yuni felt overwhelmed with emotion and nodded.
"I'll get the nurse, just wait here."
Yuni ran as quick as she could to the nurse's station.
"Excuse me...my fiance is awake now."
The nurse rushed into the room, Yuni trailing right behind.
"I'll bring you back to the waiting room while we do tests."
Yuni waved at Soonyoung before following him into the waiting room again.
"I'll make sure to update you every now and then, but for now just stay put."
All she could do was plop down on the chair beside Mae and Wonwoo. "He's awake now, they'll be doing tests."
They hummed in response, Mae looking down at Yuni's baby bump. "How are you guys holding up?"
"I uhh so so, I'm just anticipating the results. I hope it's nothing bad." Mae leaned against her, "It will be fine, just get some rest. I'll wake you up when the nurse has updates."
Yuni's eyes fluttered open as someone gently tapped her shoulder. "Yuni, the nurse has an update for you." She rubbed at her eyes as the sudden light change blinded her.
"Ah yes. What is the update?"
