You saved my life
But you took yours
You taught me how to live
But you went and did the opposite
You taughtt me how to stay afloat
But you let everything sink you in deep
You showed me how to swim through the storm
Yet you let that storm drown you down
You showed me that life was worth a living
Yet you couldn't live another day
You showed me all the bright places
While you locked yourself in a closet
I wanted to live in a world designed by you
But you couldn't even make it in the real world.
You saved my life
But I couldn't save yours.....
A poem about a girl named Violet and a boy named Finch
