They say, "Stop crying, I know you're only doing it for attention."
I say, "It's not me, it's my depression."
They say, "You are 16! stop being a kitty."
I say, "It's not me, it's my anxiety."
They say, "Your obsession to be clean is killing me."
I say, "It's not me, it's my OCD."
They say, "You are such a fuss. It's just food not fodder."
I say, "It's not me, it's my eating disorder."
They say, "Stop staying up late and go to sleep early."
I say, "But insomnia doesn't let me."
They say, "Stop giving me reasons for your laziness."
I say, "It's easy for you cause you don't deal with this mess."
You'll never listen you never do,
You'll never understand what teenagers go through.
