out of control; sydney novak (part two)

i limped through the halls and went straight to my locker with music blasting into my earbuds. my hood was up and my jacket was zipped to the top. 

there was some murmurs of words beside my so i took out one ear bud and looked to the side of me. which stood stanley. 

"planning on shooting up the school today?" he asked, the shortly after chuckled but had his laughter fade when i looked away from him and popped open my locker. "y/n, are you okay? did i do something wrong?"  

one he finished his comment i grabbed his arm and brought him into the janitor's closet and started to take off my pants.

his eyes widened and covered his eyes. "y-y/n you have a girlfriend! i can't be doing this with you!"

i almost wanted to laugh but wasn't in the mood. "look." 

stanley hesitantly and slowly took his hands off his face, his eyes darting down to look at my legs. noticing the bruises. "holy shit, what-." 

"syd, sydney did it," then i started to unzip my jacket and tug at my shirt. "there's also a bruise on my-." 

he shook his head and squinted his eyes shut. a blush now on his face. "i-i get it."

as i started to put my jacket back on and pull up my pants stanley walked over to me and rested his shoulder on the door. his body faced towards mine. "how did she do this?" he asked. 

i exhaled out turned my body to face his as well. "we got in an argument about the rumors, and eventually got so mad that she used her powers to push me on  the wall and break some glass."

stanley sighed out. "i'm sorry," then put his arms out. "hug?" 

a soft smile went on my lips as i let his arms wrap around me, my arms going under his and hugged him tightly. 

the school day was boring. mom assigned me to pick up some groceries from the store. stanley offered to come but i told him that i'd rather go by myself. 

so there i was, a list of it on my phone and grabbing the items and putting it in the basket. the last item on the list was chips, so i went into the chips aisle and grabbed them without looking, but felt another hand touch against mine.

when my gaze went up i saw syd's flustered face looking at mine. 

"what's up, dykes." a voice said. and both of our heads turn over to see bradley and ricky standing there in the same aisle as us. "nice day isn't it." 

i scoffed and flipped him off, yanking the chips when syd wasn't paying attention and tried to walk past them but they stopped me. "woah woah, where ya going?" 

breath exhaled out my nose. "fuck off, guys."

bradley laughed while ricky snickered and said, "come on, sweetheart. just let us-." 

"i said...FUCK OFF!" 

i shoved them out of the way and walked over to the cashier and went to pay for my food. then getting of the grocery store. hearing "whaddya gonna do, fire-crotch?" 

my breath quickened. sydney.

my head jolted around and i saw brad and ricky teasing syd in the alley by the store. come on, syd. why won't you use your powers on them like you did on me. but she looked to scared to do anything. she just squinted her eyes shut and hoped for this to end. 

oh it was about to end, alright.

"hey assholes!" i yelled at them, making them turn around. "i'm gonna ask you one time to back away from my girlfriend or i'll fucking cut your throat." 

ricky laughed. "she's bluffing." and in that moment i walked up close to them making their tough expressions turn into scared ones. my pocket knife was in jacket which i whipped out and held up to brad's neck. 

"wanna bet, sweetheart?" 

brad's lifted up his neck and tried not to move. "f-fine! we'll go you psycho." and once i heard that my hand lowered the knife and the two fools quickly walked off. 

my gaze turned back to syd's. an exhale releasing. "you okay?"

"i love you." 

my eyes widened. "wh-what?" 

she nodded. "i love you, and i'm sorry or not believing you." 

my eye started to water but i blinked them away and smiled at her. "i love you too." 

our lips pressed on each others, my hands roaming her waist and her hands tangling into my hair. we stayed like that until our lips got tired and eventually made our way home. 

"i guess you could that you were the one out of control this time." 

"shut up, weirdo."
