Oikawa went up to Y/n and patted her head, "School is not even over," he smiled at her.
"Are you skipping class?" Y/n asked and Oikawa nodded innocently. "I would get mad at you, but I'm already mad at my brother. C'mon let's go to the rooftop so no one can catch us," she grabbed Oikawa's wrist and began dragging him.
Once they arrived, Y/n plopped in the middle of the ground and buried her face into her arms and screamed. It was muffled.
"Y/n, I'm worried, are you okay?" he sat next to her and held her chin up just to see her teary eyes. He wiped the tears that were coming out of the corner of her eyes. "Y/n..."
"He called me a bad sister and I slapped him because he's not grateful. I think he's more embarrassed that I scolded him in the hallways though," she ranted and began crying even more. Y/n started hiccuping, but all that Oikawa did was try to stop her from crying.
"So you got into a fight with him?"
Y/n nodded and removed Oikawa's hands from her face. Then she untied her hair and plopped his hands on her head, "Can you play with my hair?"
Oikawa smiled widely, "Finally giving in, huh?" he stroked her hair and hummed once again.
Y/n leaned on his shoulder and began humming with him. "You know, I understand you have fangirls and all, but I feel like you're close to people that are not your fangirls. Why is that?"
Oikawa cocked a brow at that question, "I like that this is not a clichè fan fiction where the reader is the only one that isn't fan girling over me." He thought to himself. "Well Y/n, because they only cling onto me because of their opinion, not others opinions. The fangirls only cling onto me because of others opinions,"
"That's confusing, but I know you're more closer to the third year girls because they despise you," Y/n teased and laughed.
"I- Y/N YOU DONT HAVE TO BE SO MEAN ABOUT IT!!" Oikawa whined, but continued to play with Y/n's hair.
"I know I just met you, but I already like you as a friend already," Y/n stood up and extended her hand to Oikawa, "Hey so want to start heading to our date?" Y/n smiled.
Oikawa's whole face turned red while Y/n pulled him up, "It's not a date..." Oikawa muttered under his breath and Y/n heard, but all she did was smile again, "I know, I know, but if you think about it, it kind of sounds like it. There, a friend date,"
Oikawa smiled and tied her hair up for her, "Hm, I like the sound of that,"
Café
"Y/n what do you want?" Oikawa asked from the counter.
"Caramel Macchiato," she shouted from the table. Oikawa nodded and began ordering whatever.
Y/n took out a paper and pencil then began to write nonsense on the paper. Maybe some doodles and words about song lyrics. Oikawa came back to the table with caramel macchiato, peppermint latte, a cheesecake slice, and some chocolates.
"Did you pay for everything?"
"...."
"Oikawa," Y/n stared at him, hoping that he answers.
"I stole the chocolates," he said sheepishly and dodged an attack from Y/n
"Why??"
"It doesn't look like you need to buy it," he simply states and takes a sip from his peppermint latte.
Y/n eyed him and took a sip of her Caramel Macchiato. She began doodling on her paper.
Oikawa cleared his throat, "So, how bold of you to give me your number," he said teasingly. Y/n looked up at him and cocked a brow. "We just met, I don't think we should go out,"
Y/n covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing, but it didn't necessarily work. "Bwahaha! I only gave you my number so you can call me if I was late," she bursted into another fit of laughter.
Oikawa blushed furiously of embarrassment and got a piece of cheesecake and shoved it into Y/n's mouth so she can stop laughing. "Don't make fun of me!" He whined. "I'm just used to girls giving me their numbers so they could go out with me," he folded his arms and eyed Y/n.
"Ah, used to girls loving you, eh? So cold-hearted," Y/n shook her head, but Oikawa knew she was joking. "Have you ever fallen in love before?"
"Yes, but it always ended," he sighed then smiled at Y/n, "but, I get used to breakups considering all the breakups I've had before...what about you?"
"I've only started to view love. Before, I always hated whenever girls and boys only talked about love," Y/n finished her Caramel Macchiato.
"Only started to view love..." Oikawa pondered and then a light bulb turned on, "Wait, so who do you love now?" Oikawa leaned foward towards Y/n, his face a few inches apart from her.
"Well, it's complicated, because I don't know if he remembers me," Y/n whined and Oikawa patted her head.
"Is he from this school?" Oikawa sits back and finishes
"I don't know," Y/n sighed and sat back, pushing the cheesecake plate to Oikawa. "Eat the rest,"
"No yo-mmmph," Oikawa was interrupted by Y/n when she started feeding him forcefully.
"You're so muscular, at least gain a few," Y/n continued feeding Oikawa, to which he didn't mind anymore.
"You're so pretty, at least get a boyfriend," Oikawa winked with his mouth stuffed with cheesecake.
Y/n's cheeks went slight pink and she chuckled at his little flirt tactic. "If you're going to flirt, don't do it with your mouth full,"
Oikawa wiggled his eyebrows and smirked then dodged an attack from Y/n. Y/n already knew what he was thinking.
Y/n stands up and begins throwing their trash, "We should be heading home now, it's getting late. I'll walk you home this time since you live nearby,"
"You don't have to y'know,"
"I know, but it'll be nice to have a little bit more company," Y/n smiles sweetly as they make their way out.
Their walk to Oikawa's house was quite quiet. The clouds and the sun setting distracted Y/n from talking. Oikawa decided to start a conversation since he seems like the awkward one, "So, Y/n...are you and Tobio-chan going to be okay?"
"I don't know. This isn't the first time we fought, but it's the first time we actually fought physically," Y/n sighed and looked up at Oikawa. "Do you have siblings?"
"I have an older sister...we fight all the time over silly stuff though," he smiled at Y/n and pats her head for the 10000th time, "Don't worry though Y/n, you two are family so it's law to forgive."
Y/n nodded and pointed at the clouds to distract Oikawa. He squinted to look at the 'UFO' Y/n was talking about. She then hugged Oikawa's waist gently, which caused Oikawa to just freeze completely.
"Small waist...Oikawa-kun you could actually be a girl. You're so feminine," Y/n stated bluntly then pulled away and looked at Oikawa's frozen figure, "Are you okay?"
"...please warn me next time," Oikawa starts walking faster than Y/n, making sure she doesn't see the look on his face.
Y/n tried to catch up with him, "Damnit Oikawa-kun you're too fast!"
"Y/n you should head home now!" Oikawa shouted without looking back and started sprinting home. Y/n sighed and gave up on him.
She started walking to the train station. A gust of wind swarms the entire street, causing Y/n shiver from the cold. It's strange that all of a sudden it gets cold.
Once Y/n arrived at home she noticed that there is multiple of shoes next to the rack. Guests? She thinks to herself and sees pink crocs Did Tobio invite a girl over?, she thinks again.
"Tobi-" The scene on the couch doesn't even let her finish her sentence.
