6 months have passed by and let me tell you they went by fast. I have been seeing Alex almost all the time now and I think we have become very good friends. He has changed a lot though. When I first met him he was such a gentleman and so serious. Don’t get me wrong now he is still a gentleman, but he jokes around more.
He was over my house yesterday and turns out my mom and him get along perfectly, they always make jokes and one time they even laughed at me! The point is they are always kidding around and joking witch is very entertaining. My mom really trusts him and he is like part of the family.
I met his family and it was surprisingly big. I mean I know people who have big families but his was humongous! He had 3 brothers- that lived with him, Clayton, Tyrone and Erik. He also had 2 sisters, Noemi, and Karina. They were all sweet and made me feel welcomed as soon as I met them. They like to joke around and be silly a lot, witch I like since I’m the same. His mom was Penelope, she was like my second mother. I never saw his dad though but didn’t ask incase it was a painful subject.
He was very protective over me and was angered very easily. Talking about the devil, here he is right now. “Hi Lucia.” He said to my mom hugging her. “Hi Alex, how are you?” “I’m great and you?” He asked. “Good!” She replied. I walked towards the living room and ran to hug him. “He-hey!” He said as I jumped in his arms. “Hi!” I said cheerfully with a smile. I swear, whenever he was near it felt like I had to have some type of contact with him. The way his touch could send sparks through every part of my body made me feel safe and protected. The way he could send shivers up my spine by just grazing over my skin was magical.
I tightened my grip on his neck. "Wow, someone missed me." He said with a smirk. "Well I didn't see you for so long!" I said dramatically. "Two days." He said amused. I frowned and said "You know what you don't deserve my hugs." I pouted and turned around to walk away when I felt the sparks shoot up my hands warming my body as he pull me closer to him. He hugged me from behind and said "Come on, you know I love you." I huffed playfully and my mom said "You want pie?" I looked at Alex and saw him smiling. He said "Race you to the stools?" "Oh your on!" I said. I dashed for the counter stools while I had Alex running behind me. I knew he was just letting me win because man, that guy can run fast.
I beat him to the counter stools and sat down. He came behind me shortly after and dug into the strawberry pie my mom had made. I grabbed a spoon for my self and dug in too. The pie was amazing! I wanted to eat every last piece of crumb. When I finished my pie I frowned. I still wanted some. I looked at Alex and saw he had a piece left. I smiled evily and was about to grab his plate when his hand shot out and he said "Don't even think about it!" I tried grabbing it again but he stood up and ran away upstairs, with my following hot on his heels. He got upstairs and my mom screamed "DON'T GET ANYTHING ON MY FLOORS!" I ran upstairs and searched for Alex. "Looking for me? Or should I say this?" He said holding up the plate high so I couldn't get it. "NOT FAIR YOU'Re A GIANT!" I screamed. "Naww is wittle Ali mwad?" He said in a teasing baby voice. "No." I said jumping to get the plate. "Do you want it?" He asked. "Nahh I'm just here jumpin'." I said sarcastically. "Oh, ok then I guess I can do this." He said while he got his spoon and ate a bite of his now smaller piece of pie. I gasped and jumped as high as I could but I still couldn't reach it. "Can you give me it pwease?" I asked with an innocent smile and puppy dog eyes. He groaned and said "Stop doing that!" "Why?" I asked. "Because.. you look so adorable." He said while pinching my cheeks. "So I can have it." I asked with exitement. "No way this is too good." I jumped on him to grab it but ended up tiping it towards the wall. I watched as the pie rolled of the plate and went slipping down on the wall. "Well, she said not to get any on her floor." Alex said with an emphasis on floor.
