"Are you trying to kill me?!"

"We're going out?" I raised a sleepy eye brow at my grinning best friend who looks like the grinch as of now but I'm not going to tell her that out loud.

"No, we're going in." She replied sarcastically, earning an eye roll from me as I plop myself down on my bed. A yawn escaping my mouth.

Last night, if I say so myself, was one of the best memorable nights of my entire life. Not only because I ate my favorite food in the world which is pizza and watched a movie with my parents and best friend but also because I was able to not exactly let go but rather let out the burden that I've been carrying ever since that day.

"Sure, sure." I finally mumbled as my eye lids were starting to close again but when I felt Gianna's grip on my foot, my eyes instantly widened as she started to tickle the sole of my foot with that monster smirk plastered on her face.

"Are you going to get up now?!" Gianna was smirking evilly knowing fully well that I am so going to lose this one.

"Oh kay! haha I'm uh-haha up!" I shouted between my laughs and wild wriggles, immediately thanking the heavens once my foot was set free.

Yay.

Now, it's time for-

"Ouch!" I tried to hold back my laughter as I watch Gianna slowly stand up while rubbing her aching butt.

"Why did you kick me?"

"What?" I asked innocently.

She rolled her eyes then oh so suddenly smirked. "Just hurry up, my feet are itching to go for a run." She stated still smirking which turned my angel eyes into the deadliest glare there is.

Once she exited my room, I instantly got to work since I know she'll be back any minute now to check on me. After showering, I went to my walk in closet and after rummaging for a good outfit, and when I say good I mean something that would fit just fine because I seriously need to gain weight, I finally settled with my light gray yoga pants, pink sports bra and of course white running shoes.

I was tying my hair into a high ponytail since it was already dry when my eyes suddenly fell to my digital wall clock through the mirror which got a horror look on my face and gasped.

"Gianna!" I screamed with all my mighty as I realized just how early it was.

I gritted my teeth as I turned my head to make sure what I saw was right. And indeed it was, 6:27am. The numbers were mocking me, giving me a headache and I so wanted to strangle the witch who wanted to go for a run at this time.

"What!" She hollered, not bothering to approach me knowing fully well that I'm about to throw a fit once I see her.

I stomped my foot whining pathetically for about five minutes before I pulled myself together and exited my room with a defeated sigh.

After running for about forever, we finally stopped at our favorite diner which is Winnie's before oxygen would leave my lungs.

"Are you trying to kill me?!" I asked my best friend while panting, gasping for oxygen like a girl having an asthma attack.

"See how unfit you are? Look at me, sweating but not panting like you." I rolled my eyes but decided not to reply because she's right.

We were silent for a moment, only hearing a few murmurs from the peope passing by, car engines and of course my pants.

"Hey I'm just, I'll get something to drink okay? Don't follow me, I mean just stay here." I answered Gianna's stuttering with a shrug on my shoulder not even looking her way as I took a sit at the side walk.

Thank God I didn't passed out. I thought, heaving out a sigh.

I watched the passers by, some were also running like a cheetah (probably heading to work base on their uniforms hehe), others were jogging holding the leash of their dog while a few people were biking. I greeted the people who I knew and knew me personally and also the ones who I know and knows me just by face.

Suddenly I felt eyes burning holes at the right side of my face. When I turned to look at the source, I saw an unfamiliar girl quickly looking away. I raised a questioning eye brow even though she's not looking anymore since I caught her stare, well base on that millisecond eye to eye contact it was definitely a glare.

Yup that girl was totally glaring at me.

I studied her features, shoulder length blonde hair, from afar I can see how brown her eyes were, she has a pale skin, nice body and base on her sexy attire which was a blue sports bra and black shorts, she was over all beautiful. As I intentionally stared at her, something confused me greatly. She looks familiar yet not familiar at the same time. If that's even possible.

I tilted my head on the other side as I try to remember when and where I could have seen that face, when a heavy feeling was suddenly building inside my chest like the poison of the cigarette smoke slowly but surely killing your lungs. I knew that it was my guts that's telling me she's bad news.

Bad, bad news.

"Avalon!" I jerked my head towards a walking Gianna. She had two water bottles on both her hands and handed me one once she was of reach.

"Thanks." I said as I un-cap the small bottle and turned to look back at blondie only to find that she was already no where to be seen.

Where the hell did that blondie went? Woah wait a minute, why am I even looking for her. If she's bad news then I should definitely avoid her at all times.

However, I couldn't help my curiosity get to me. Even though the saying curiosity killed the cat is being slap in my head right now.

"Sorry I took long, there were lots of customers." She chuckled nervously but I ignored her sudden weirdness as the thoughts of blondie invaded my mind.

"Let's go." I said with a nod as we jog back to my house.

I hope I don't see you again, blondie.

But then again, I have the littlest hope that one day, some day, we meet.
