Kokuyo widened his eyes at his youngest daughter's request- His daughter usually does not ask for any favor nor request throughout the years, that is why if it's regarding Kohana he almost immediately agrees, but this time, he actually ended up becoming deaf for a second due to what he had heard, "Say that again?" The older man asked, to which Kohana nodded at, "Please grant me permission to leave the village." She states this time louder and just like usual tone monotonous. The village chief stared at his youngest child, even though her tone is monotonous you could definitely see that she wants to leave. Her eyes says so.

"Why?" Kokuyo questioned, not liking the idea of her leaving in the slightest, she's his daughter after all. As much as possible he does not want her to get out, besides unlike Kohaku her twin, Kohana is extremely fragile. Just like her name, she's a flower. Unlike Kohaku who he had been training since she was a child, Kohana loved observing and helping others in her own way. She can't possibly survive in the wild, "I would like to leave and search for more herbs to experiment with." Kohana answered straight to the point without any ounce of hesitation, glancing towards her older sister who is currently watching the whole ordeal beside their father

"I want to save Onee-sama, Father."

Kohana added as she knelt down on her knees- "I... Just like Haku-chan, would like to go out. I've acquired different types of herbs due to Haku-chan's diligence and perseverance..." The female trailed off, now placing her head on the ground which shocked everyone inside the hut, their eyes glued on the back of the female, "But it is not enough. I have to be the one who goes out and search for new ones." Kohana finished, face unchanging, just like always her face stayed the same neutral expression she wore all the time, but despite this fact you can feel her determination to save her eldest sister.

I'm truly blessed- Those were the words that circled Ruri's mind as she eyed the scene before her with tears brimming to fall from the corner of her eyes. Despite being twins Kohaku and Kohana are completely different personality wise, they look similar but in her eyes both shined differently from one another, but both of them are kind. That's why she's always worried about them, they care too much about her, "Forgive me Father for asking this one request, but please let this one slide." Kohana says still bowing, Kokuyo who felt conflicted for a few moments decided to just let the girl be.

"Fine, you may go out and search for herbs, but who would be the one making the tea leaves you've been giving Ruri?" Kokuyo questioned, to which Kohana immediately sat back up before pointing outside, "I taught Chrome how to do it, Father." She states before flashing her father a small smile, "You don't have anything to worry about Father." Kohana reassures, before standing up from her previous position, "I've been planning to ask you this for ages. I simply fear that Father will get angry that's why I've been silent this whole time."

Kokuyo eyed his daughter for a couple of seconds before heaving out a sigh, "I won't get angry because it's you, but I am worried. Can you even survive all by yourself out there, Kohana?" He questioned in a concerned tone, the female stayed silent for a short moment before nodding. Of course she can survive all on her own, the female is fully capable of protecting herself and others, she used to be a general on a land where war is evident, but no one knows that other than her, “Are you sure? Should I task Kinro to come with you?” Kohana shook her head in disagreement, “I am capable of protecting myself Father, there is no need to give Kinro such trivial task. I'll be fine on my own.”

Kohana answered, which made Kokuyo heave out a sigh, still worried, but instead of voicing it out he simply nodded. What could he possibly do? She had always been like this— stubborn, courageous, and stead fast. All of his daughters are like this, “Remember to come back at least once in a while, okay?” The older states, the blonde female bowed her head in appreciation, “I will.”
