Kohana heaved out a sigh as at the male's words, currently having a hard time to get out of the male's grip without hurting him in any way, his offer is not bad at all in her opinion— He did say he can help her, besides any normal person wouldn't think she's an apothecary if they are not observant and knowledgeable enough, “I'll listen to what you have to say.” The cerulean eyed woman says, as she slumped herself on the ground, Senku looked at her in accomplishment, “But first, what's a scientist?” Kohana questioned acting dumb in front of the red eyed man before her who's still holding her hand.

“A scientist is someone who systematically gathers and uses research with evidence, making hypotheses and testing them, to gain and share understanding and knowledge.” Senku states as he tried to explain it to the woman- only to receive a look of confusion, upon seeing this, the crimson eyed male sighed, “To put it simply, I discover things.” The dual-color haired male says as a matter of fact, Kohana thought about it for a moment before nodding. “So? What do you need from me exactly, and how can you help me?” Kohana questioned.

Senku retracted his hand off of the woman's wrist before flashing the woman a smirk, “It's rather simple really, you help me with my experiments and I'll help you with yours.” The male says, Kohana sat there on the ground humming as she thought this one out, It's not like helping a person from the modern world can hurt— if he ever goes back on his word, she can just kill him if she wants. After thinking this one out, Kohana stared at the male for a couple of seconds, “Sure.”

Upon hearing this Senku was finally able to slump on the ground as well, relieved that someone is there to help him now with the daily labor he had to face— “Finally. . .” The male says out of relief, “Seeing that there's a human alive and kicking, there's a civilization out there isn't it?” Senku questioned eyeing the back of the woman who merely dismissed his question, Kohana herself does not want any outsiders in her village, especially a stranger at that, even if they're humans who turned into stone, without any evidence that they're a good person, Kohana will not let them near her village.

“Also. . .” Senku pointed at the zither on the woman's back, the cerulean eyed female raised one of her brows at this gesture— “That zither on your back, how do you know how to play it?” The gravity-defying haired male wondered, now looking at the woman's face, Kohana flashed the male a smile, “I just know.” She replies, not even wanting to give the person near her an ounce of information regarding who she is. This girl is actually keeping information from him, Senku thought. He's used to be the one who usually get bombarded of questions, but in this case, their roles are reversed.

In his opinion, everything about this woman is definitely peculiar. From the fact that she knows how to play a classical instrument that possesses a long history in a foreign country to the fact that she's an apothecary. Seeing that she seems to be around his age, well— his age before he turns into a statue, she should at least have a notebook that is passed down by the old apothecary of her village but that doesn't seem to be the case. Since the woman is only carrying her zither on her back along with a small patched up bag filled with clothes. Heck, even the way she acts towards him is odd. Sure she might appear confused about what's a scientist earlier, but after that? Nothing.

Not a single look of bewilderment nor interest.

( Just. . . Absolutely nothing. )

The two traveled towards the tree house that Senku had made, once Kohana's eyes laid upon the small tree house, she immediately scanned the whole area— it seems like this person is living all by himself, and by the looks of it he's the one who made this house, it's quite impressive to see a man who looks like a stick can create such a house. “My name's Senku by the way.” The dual-color haired male states as he places his pinky finger inside one of his ear before blowing on it right after, “Kohana.” The female replies, “What exactly do you need help with, let me remind you that I'll only help you if you're helpful. If not, I'll leave.”

“Can you relax? Follow me first.”

Senku says as he marched towards a hut nearby— Kohana stood there eyeing him before following soon after, inside the hut there are numerous shelves of bird statues. In her opinion it looks like a lab, and just like what she thought it was, the sign above the hut says laboratory. “Help me with my experiment on how to get the living beings out of the stone they're all locked in.” Kohana hummed, “Fine.”

Kohana is not sure whether the man before her is an enemy or an ally, but regardless, this piqued her interest. A human is saying he wants to find a way to save humanity, as someone who used to be a general in a world full of war— A man who strives to save humanity despite the odds, to her, is rare. Upon hearing the answer of the female, Senku smirked, “We'll both definitely save this world with the power of science, I am ten billion percent sure.”
