When Dimensions Collide

Chapter 18

Once the movie started to come to an end I realised how dry my mouth was, and how I haven't eaten yet since I've woken up. "Hey princess, did you have breakfast?" I ask making sure I haven't accidentally starved my child with a movie.

"Yep! Lolo made me pancakes, they were really yummy" I move her off my lap gently and look at Lolo. "Thank you a lot making her breakfast, you didn't have to" "I didn't have to but I wanted to. Even though the twins aren't mine I see them like they are... We were planning to adopt twins, we had just finished making all the preparations for it. Until I um got bitten." She looks at me with a smile but you can see the sadness she is trying to hide from me.

"Do you need anything from the kitchen?" I inquire before standing up, they both shake their heads before talking about the next film to put on. I watch the two for a few seconds, feeling happy that at least one person except my Lauren and Camila, is spending time with the twins.

Just before I was about to take a few steps forward I hear someone making their way the stairs. I look over towards the sound to see Mila humming happily as she bounces with every step.

"Your hungry right? There's food right there. Just go and take a bite."

I shake my head quickly "I can't" I mumble to myself. "You can't what?" I hear Lolo ask me worriedly once she hears me talking to myself. I ignore her and focus my attention on the ground. Even if I wanted to bite her, I've never actually really drank from a human, that could be dangerous.

"So it would be worth it, just do it already. Deep down you want to." I close my eyes tightly as I feel them become irritable for a second, signalling that they have changed colour. "Hey Y/N are you okay?" Mila asks as her footsteps come closer.

My head snaps up at the sound of her coming closer. I open my eyes and before I could even tell her to leave she interrupts "your eyes! They changed colour! That's so cool! The top half is red!" She squeals. As soon as she said they changed colour I hear Lolo stand up as she moves into my view holding hands with Angelica.

"Okay sweety go find you sister okay! And play with her. I'll call you down soon and we will play then" "okay" she responds and runs up the stairs. Lolo turns to me and holds out her hand towards me, her hand facing up, either telling me to stop or that she is being cautious. "Y/N whatever is going through your mind calm down"

"Ignore her. Get the girl now." No, I can't harm her, she did nothing wrong. "NOW!" The voice started to shriek repeatedly giving me a headache.

I can't take this anymore, a small bite won't harm her too much and the voice will be happy. It'll be fine. Within a blink of an eye, I had pinned Mila down onto the floor, hovering my teeth over her neck. "Y-y/n what are you doing? Please get off.." I don't respond "Y/n get off her" I hear Lolo demand but instead I sink my teeth into her neck.

As soon as my teeth penetrated her skin she let out a loud scream and tried to wiggle out of my grasp. A single drop of her blood made me lose all control of my body and the predator inside me took over. "That's right... Drink her dry." I let out a growl once the voice entered my head and I bit down harder, as more blood entered my mouth.

All that was running through my mind was 'more'. I wanted more, no I craved more. Even though this is way much more than I would normally have, I didn't care I didn't even feel full.

All of a sudden I was flung off of Mila to be pinned against the wall by Lauren and Camila. I hiss at them as I watch Mila get up holding her neck, with the help of Lolo as the make their way up the stairs.

"You really going to let your pray get away like that! Do better!" The voice yells at me in displeasure. I can hear the two trying to talk to me but I block them out as I do the one thing I have yet to do. I feel as all my bones crack simultaneously as my body forms it's self into a wolf.

I spin myself around pushing the two off me as their grips lessen in surprise. In the full sprint, I charge towards the stairs, turning back into my human form to use my vampiric speed.

Once I reach the top of the stairs and halfway through the corridor. I stop as I see the scared Mila and a determined Lolo corned at the end of the hallway. I tilt my head and stalk my way towards them, licking the blood off my lips.

Out of nowhere, C barges her way out of a door and stands in front of me. I growl knowing my mates are behind me as well. I take my focus off of C and towards Mila only for C to grab my chin and force me to look at her.

"Hey, come back. This isn't you, those pesky voices are messing with you again." "Pesky, who the hell is she calling pesky. Kill her" a snarl leaves my mouth as I grab her by the neck, listing her from the ground.

She looks at me in surprise and shakes her head at the two behind me as they attempt to move closer to me. She looks back at me and starts to sing
" I'm sorry mom and dad
I know I messed up bad
I should've, should've done, should've done better
I'm sorry mum and dad, for all the time I had
To get my life, to get my life together
But I didn't"

I feel my eyes go back to normal as I place her down on her feet, looking at her confused. Where do I know that song? It feels so familiar but doesn't at the same time. That's when a memory of me writing it while held captive by C, I played it on the piano.

My eyes widen as I rush over to Mila, she tries to flinch away from me. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. It just happened I lost control. It's me now look" I point to my eyes, she looks at me sceptically before letting down her guard. "Lolo could you please patch her up..." She smiles softly and nods, walking past me to the nearest bathroom.

Lauren walks up to me and runs her finger underneath my lips. I stare at her confused then she sticks her finger in her mouth licking up the blood that was on her finger. "Lauren seriously?" An annoyed Camila speaks up from our partner's actions. "What I won't let perfectly good blood just dry up like that"

C walks up to me and grabs my hand and starts dragging me off. "And where the hell do you think you're taking her." Lauren asks as she appears in front of us with her arms crossed.

"The voices are taking control and I'm going to teach her how to drown then out" she replies smugly. "How do you plan to do that?" "Simple satisfy her blood lust" Lauren looks at her unsure with what to say making C continue. "You see my y/n voices wanted her to kill, by doing that they were quiet for a while till they wanted more. Now it's happening with your y/n so things will get a lot worse before they get better if she continues like this"

"Then I'm taking her. I don't trust her with you" C groans at this, I can practically feel her rolling her eyes at Lauren. "Fine" she let's go and Lauren picks me up. "Let's go my queen"
