Iris and the guild members approached Hargeon, walking immediately towards the town center where Natsu and Lucy had first encountered one another. They stood waiting for several minutes, then finally Luke and Mr. Daniels came into sight. "Mr. Luke!" Iris shouted running to the man and hugging him. "Iris." Mr. Daniels said sternly. She quickly detached herself and took her place next to him. "I thank you Fairy Tail for coming. I apologize for having to suddenly change venues, but as you saw, it became pertinent to relocate." The master stepped forward "We have confirmed your identity young man, you are in fact who you say you are. Now can you explain why you have suddenly appeared?" "I'm sure you recognize where we we stand, not just as place where Natsu and my sister had their fateful encounter, but also where you cast the spell celestial invitation." "Celestial invitation? I'm afraid we've not heard the name before. Can you elaborate?" Erza asked. "Celestial invitation is a spell that Lucy began working on, shortly after joining the guild. It is designed to summon wizards instead of celestial spirits. I believe you may recall the key you used to summon Natsu to the celestial world? I understand you referred to the process as a reverse summon." Everyone nodded their heads recalling Natsu's screams. "What about it." Natsu growled remembering the pain. "Referring to it as a reverse summon is actually quite accurate. The key is linked with the intended wizards spirit energy and my sisters. It allows her to instantly transport any wizard she has a key for, within a half mile of her location. Her hope was to rescue any of her guild mates that may face a deadly situation by summoning them to safety, or summoning in more guild members if a fight proved to be too much. As you can see there various ways such a tool could be implemented." "That is to say Lady Lucy created the keys for your guild." Mr. Daniels added. "You know." Erza chimed "I've been wondering this for a while now, it's my understanding that only the Celestial King could create keys, so how was Lucy able to?" "Perhaps I should start at the beginning to better clarify."
"Nearly 30 years ago I was kidnapped from my mother, immediately following my birth. Just before my mothers memories could be completely wiped she requested Mr. Daniels rescue me at all costs and to raise me in secret, even from her. After several weeks of searching I was finally located and rescued thanks to his magic."
"After some research Daniels was able to find some clues into the event. A fortune teller famous for his accuracy had delivered a prophesy that the celestial wizard heir born of the Heartfilia conglomerate would possess a power so great, entire countries would fall beneath their feet. This man had died the next morning, but the investigation into his death had been fruitless. It was later determined to be natural causes and the case closed." Erza shifted placing her hand on her chin "If that is true then why is Lucy their target?" Luke lifted his hands and dozens of tiny fairies began to whirl around him and the guild members. "I was able to hide it for a great many years, but they somehow found out that I am unable to perform celestial magic. With my magic I am able to bring both living and non living things into our world. If I can imagine, it can be created. My magic is called creation."
