ALEX LET OUT A GASP as she woke up and realized she was on the hard concrete floor. Her mouth is parted in shock and frozen, and she realized that she was perfectly fine. She got up from the ground when she heard the familiar voice. ''Alex!'' Alex heard Peter's voice calling out for her, and then she could hear of familiar different voices at once echoing for calling her help. She whirls around with panic in her eyes. ''Peter?'' She cried out. She held her hands above her ears, trying to block all of the sounds that cried around her.
''Please, make it stop,'' She sobbed. A drone appeared, but she was quick this time. She dodged with her hand as she sent it flying away from her. She doesn't even know where to go, only that she needed to get out of there. The voices stopped when she heard Beck's voice. ''Really, Alex?'' Beck taunted her from somewhere she can't see. ''I thought we were friends, and then you go and betray me like this?''
''I wouldn't have to if you didn't show me who you really were,'' She snarled as she whirled around and tried to figure out where he were. ''Isn't that the biggest question?'' He asked her as he appeared in his full suit below her. Alex doesn't hesitate before muttering a spell towards him. His figure dissolves as she hit him, destroying but nothing but air. ''Face me you coward,'' She growled.
''I'm the coward?'' He sneered. ''You want your friends because you don't want to admit that you don't want to be alone, you can keep pretending you're hero all you want, but I know who you really are, how can you expect to defeat me when you can't even accept your past?'' Alex's reflection reaches through the mirror and siezes her by the throat. She's yanked down into the glass, tumbling into an endless void of darkness.
She lands on the ground with a thud before standing up to her feet. ''Dear old Mom and Dad weren't the best, were they?'' Beck mocks. Her reflection dissolves when she sees her father along with her mother. The only memory she have of her mother is the picture of her standing with Nicky Fury at SHIELD. ''You almost killed them because you couldn't control your powers,''
''This is what you were made to be, what you will always be when it comes down to it,'' Alex watched the picture in front of her as Beck changed the illusions of dead bodies on the ground. Alex let out a gasp when she realized that all of the destruction, and death was caused because of her. ''Shut up!'' She screamed, throwing her arms out and expelling as much magic she can from them.
Alex can feel her panic rising through her body when she hear Beck laughing from the distance. She tries to run away, but where she could go? She was trapped. Then she falls, it's too sudden of a change for her to even gather her bearings before she lands in an ungraceful heap. ''Alex?'' Peter's voice calls from somewhere she can't see. ''Alex!''
''Peter!'' She calls back as she turns into a wild circle, but all she see is the same darkness around her. ''Where are you?'' She cried out. Her eyes darted when she sees Peter coming out of the darkness. She almost sighed out in relief when she walks towards him with her hand reached out, but as soon as their fingers brush he disappeared in a plume of green smoke.
She shakes her head in disbelief. She doesn't have the time of thinking that he was real before he disappeared. Alex forced herself to take several steps away to stay on her feet. By the time she steady herself, she finds herself somewhere else. Instead of the pitch-black void from before, she finds herself standing in a graveyard.
It takes a while before she realized it was dead bodies that lingered around her. She let out a gasp in fear before she tries to walk away. She stumbles down on the ground before she sees the bodies began to move. Her eyes widened in horror as she tries to run away before she would swim with the dead bodies. Alex chokes out a sob, and she tried to get up to her feet.
They're everywhere.
She felt a hand grip on her ankle before she turns around and sees the face of Morgan. Her face were pale as she could see the dark circles under her eyes. Her hair was not neat, and Alex tries to kick her away. She falls again when she sees Peter, and it destroyed her. His limp body is laying still on the dark floor, as she chokes a sob. A terrible ache comes through her chest, but she refuses to give in.
''Don't you see, Alex?'' Beck spoke. ''You're going to be the villain some day, no matter how hard you try to fight it, it'll always be true,''
''Tony knew all of your greatest fears, and now I do too,'' Beck replied. The next thing Alex can process, she was sent away, sending her into unconsciouness.
