Chapter 5:
The Lost Crest Mission

Selene's POV

"For our last activity before the First Semester ends.."

My mind almost exclaimed in disapproval. We've been doing tons of activities for the previous weeks tapos 'eto na naman?!

Halos mag-iisang buwan na akong nandito sa school na'to. At sa loob ng nakaraang dalawang linggo ay puro nakakapagod na activities ang ginawa namin.

May ilang activities na kung saan tila nag-so-solve kami ng isang mystery case. May involved na clues, puzzles, at detection! Akala naman siguro ni Prof, mga aspiring detectives kami!

Tapos may isa pang activity na kung sa'n pinaglinis ang buong Class 1-A sa Covered Court at sa Fields para daw sa additional points! Ano kami? Mga future janitors?

My most hated activity so far ay yung ginawa namin last week kung sa'n nag-tame kami ng mga extinct animals na nag-eexist naman dito! And geez, na-trauma ako do'n sa ankylosaurus na sinubukan kong paamuhin! Halos matusok na ako ng mga spikes no'n!

Dapat nga, sa loob ng first semester na'to, kinikilala muna namin ang isa't isa, e.

"Iyon nga ang purpose ng activity, eh." Sabat naman ni Keizy na halata mong attentive masyado sa announcement ni Prof. "Para lubos mo pang makilala ang mga kaklase mo, or more like your teammates."

Ugh! Mind-reading again?

"Pero kahit na! They should do it, not in a way that exhausts students too much!" Katuwiran ko naman. Ayoko kayang napapagod!

"We came here to train ourselves and enhance our magic so expect the fatigue and frazzle."

I just rolled my eyes. Eh di siya na 'tong magaling!

"This will be more of a mission that you need to accomplish if possible, within a week." ani Professor.

ANO NAMAN KAYA ITONG MISSION NA 'TO AT MAHABA ANG TIME LIMIT NIYA? THIS SOUNDS EXCITING.

"If you'll succeed in this mission, high grades are guaranteed for you, and you'll be excused for the 1st Semester Exam. Magkakaroon din kayo ng isang exclusive training mula sa mga mahuhusay na alumni ng Academy."

"The rules are still the same. The group who can accomplish the task will benefit from the mentioned incentives." Paliwanag pa ni Prof bago ibigay sa bawat representatives ng grupo ang tig-iisang envelope. "Class dismissed."

Matapos iyon ay nabalot na ng ingay ang buong room. I wonder if the other sections does this, too.

Nag-uusap-usap na ang ibang grupo habang kami ay pa-petiks petiks at pa-chill chill lang. Masyado atang pa-kampante itong mga kagrupo ko.

"Aren't we going to make any plan?" For now, I'll have to thank Stacey for opening up the same thought that runs through my head.

Ahren just sighed and opened up the white envelope that contains the task card. He read it out aloud.

Mission #1
Find the missing Crest of Celestia High.

This mission has been initiated for the past 10 years, but all the former students who were tasked to do this mission came back empty-handed.

The Crest of Celestia High was a precious artifact that was created right after the declaration of Celestia Kingdom's sovereignty (60 years ago) from being colonized by the Vaia Clan, a powerful bloodline that can manipulate the four main elements.
