Chapter 9

Wow another date with Joel i'm so excited. It's tomorrow after school so I have to focus on doing my work and trying not to daydream about the date. Ill have to act like nothing is going on when Laura comes up to me and tells me to not go on the date.
Lets just say end of school because I don't know what to write
Now school I over I can finally prep for the date Yammy said she was coming round my house to help me,
Yammy: right I have planned for everything, what your going to wear, what your hair is going to be like and your make up.
Lizzie: thanks Yammy, I don't know what I would do with out you
Yammy goes through my wardrobe and pulls out a black crop top and some blue jeans and gives me some black sandals.
Wow I actually look nice, now Yammy brought her make up bag and found a picture on pintrest. She finishes my make up and I have subtle red lipstick on with some blush and a light pink eyeshadow. Then she put my hair up into to 2 space buns and curled some bangs, I was ready to go. It was now 5:45 so me and Yammy left and I went to the park and she went home. This time I found Joel there first, I said hi to him and he said hi back as well, and then pulled me into a hug, I didn't want that hug to end but then he pulled away. We talked and talked until Joel suggested we go to the ramen restaurant down the street, I loved ramen so I agreed to go, we ordered our food and while we waited for our food, we talked again but then we somehow got into the stage of talking about our family
Joel: when I was young my parents divorced, I didn't know what happened before. All I knew is that my my mum moved out and then my sister went and lived with her.
Lizzie: oh that's Terrible. My mum and dad got a divorce as well, my dad moved out and my little sister is thinking about moving in with him.
But then after that our food arrived and for a minute or two it was silent, so I tried to start a conversation because Joel didn't look like he was well, he engaged in the conversation and then we called the date off early because he looked like he was about to throw up so we payed the bill and we go our separate ways, I hope he is ok tomorrow.
