The day had come. The day when everyone gathered together to discuss the issue between Amalia and Tara.

Jax had decided to stand by his wife and face Tara for the first time in 14 years. He didn't know what to expect, but he did know it would most likely end in a fight.

Amalia was outside with the boys when Wendy walked into the house.

They had agreed that she would be allowed to see Abel, but they would wait to tell him the truth about who she was until she proved she could stay sober.

"I can't believe how big he is." Wendy said, standing beside her ex husband as she watched Abel jump on top of Amalia playfully as she laid on the grass.

"I know." Jax said with a proud smile.

"It's funny, I never pictured Amalia as a mother, but now that I see it, it's hard to picture her without them." Wendy gushed.

"Yeah, she's amazing." Jax replied, watching his wife fondly.

Turning to face Wendy, Jax gestured to the kitchen table. "I want to talk to you about something."

Wendy was confused but did what he wanted, taking a seat.

"What's up?" She asked.

"I want you to stay here with the boys while we do this sit down shit." Jax told her.

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Why?"

"I know you love Amalia and want to be there for her, but you don't need to be around this shit right now, Wendy." Jax expressed, worried that all of the drama could trigger a relapse.

Wendy knew the meaning behind his words and she appreciated that he was worried. Although she wanted to support Amalia with this situation, she wasn't going to argue with Jax's logic.

"Okay. I mean, at least if I stay behind, I can help with other things." Wendy began.

It was Jax's turn to furrow his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"Tara doesn't know I'm out. Hell, she doesn't even know Abel is mine. If I stay behind, I can call her and hang out with her and let you guys know if she continues her bullshit." She told him, offering to be an informant for them.

Jax nodded his head absentmindedly as he thought it through.

If Wendy did this for them and got caught by Tara, she wouldn't be in any immediate danger. Tara was all bark and no bite and if she swung, Wendy was a tough chick and could hold her own.

He also knew that once Amalia either heard about it or saw Wendy's face for herself, that would be it for Tara.

"Let's hear what Amalia has to say about it." He replied earning a nod from Wendy.

Just then, Ang walked into the kitchen, greeting Jax and Wendy with kisses to the cheeks before making herself a cup of coffee.

"Oh, look at my babies." She gushed as she watched her niece and the kids wrestling around in the grass.
